Alpha's Housekeeper

“The ivory vase should go in the drawing room, it should contain lavender flowers. The metal vase with tulips below Alpha's portrait in the foyer, and the azure urn vase on the table by the side of his bedroom door with black roses.

The golden woman sculpture at the staircase side. The paintings bought in auctions should be hung in the drawing-room…. And, hmm, everything looks fine." Aurora put a right tick at the last pointer in the checklist she was holding as she examined the mansion carefully with her tired eyes.

"So, it's all done, right?" One of the servants who was helping her set the huge abode as per the Alpha's demands asked her, to which she nods in agreement, and they shared a victorious smile.

Well, they have all been working tirelessly for seven days as their Alpha, Damien Hunter would be arriving in three days. Everything has to be ready by then.

Aurora had been busy throughout the day and working without any break, yet the white knee length dress she wore made her look gorgeous, though it was slightly dirty from the hem. It was hugging her body perfectly and her messy hair that became messy due to non stop work suited her attire. Her coworkers grinned at her softly as they admired her wary smile.

Her hair was kohl-black and it flowed over her shoulders. She had honey sweet lips. They were lilac soft. Her eyebrows were slender and eyelashes velvety and thick. She had sea-nymph ears and a dainty nose. Aurora was loved for her bubbly outlook and warm smile that she always wore. With an hourglass figure and rapture blue eyes, she made everyone's heart flutter whenever they set their gazes on her.

"The menu for the party looks fine. Not to forget the wine list!" She directed to the senior chef who was also standing beside her with other servants.

The chefs were from Korea from Alpha Chriswoo's pack, Xiao. They were called for this grand party Alpha Damien was organizing to celebrate his success. Although he is a heartthrob bachelor, he is the CEO of'Hunter Enterprises' a billion dollar company that he built on his own, from a young age. And just a few days ago, Alpha signed a mind blowing deal which is said to be bringing the Alpha's company with millions of dollars of profit that has never been earned till now.

"Yes, Ms . Collins, it is taken care of. The wine is coming from the alpha's favorite supplier. Rest assured." Her reverie was broken by the senior chef.

Having come back to the present, she passed them a grin of a thousand volts, expressing her excitement toward their hard work, and said, "Glad to hear that. I think we are free to go back to our chambers and catch some breath of relief! Let's meet at the dining table then." They greeted each other with wide smiles and warm pats on the back and other informal ways of expressing their exhaustion and left for their particular chambers in the servants quarter while Aurora wended her way to her room .

She was given a comfy nice room which was close to Alpha Damien's.

She had just opened the door of her room when she suddenly remembered her last encounter with Alpha Damien before he was leaving for Paris.

Working as a housekeeper for the ever so desired, 28 years old Damien Hunter, the alpha of Black Spear Pack, one of the most powerful packs in the world, for the past 3 years has been a pride for her until a month ago— when she made the awful mistake of giving herself to him!

Aah... She should never have!!!

A month ago when Alpha Damien had come back from Geneva from a business trip, he had looked tired and weary.

The day was finely bright and Aurora was helping him in his bedroom.

"I am ready to leave her, Aura. It's over now as I am honestly done with her. She always wants to get physical with me and envies any woman I encounter. Her insecurities are the cause behind this decision of mine." Alpha Damien had shared with her about his girlfriend with whom he was in a live-in-relationship for several weeks.

His mate died two months after they met. She had some serious illness that got the better of her. From what Aura has heard, Alpha Damien loved her more than his own life and her death left him heartbroken and heartless at the same time. It had happened when he was twenty years old and after that he never took a serious interest in any other woman.

"I am thinking of sending her an imported diamond bracelet as a consolation gift. Do you think that'll convince her to leave me, Aura??" He had asked her when she was busy helping him with his coat.

Honestly, she had wanted to dance like crazy as she was happy with this news. She's always had a crush on Alpha Damien but his long list of girlfriends and unnamed relationships held her back. Also, the fact that dvd was just an orphan housekeeper at his house.

But that day she was amused since Alpha was going to break his not-so-beautiful relationship with his girlfriend, Ginny Williams.

She was on cloud nine!!!

"Umm, I feel like she would definitely understand you and would accept the breakup, Alpha." She replied to him.

He narrowed his eyes, looked suspiciously at her, and asked, "Why do you think so? And what makes you think that Ginny is a nice woman who would easily let her alpha lover go? That Alpha lover who is gaining more and more popularity day by day in business land, also because of whom she can grow even famous in the modeling industry."

Ginny was a model. She was not famous until she caught alpha's eyes, and after they came out as a couple, her popularity in the industry increased and everyone started recognizing her. Now every second company wanted to work with Ginny Williams. It has happened only because of alpha. One can see the consequences of leaving alpha would not only bring her a downfall but also a controversial end in the glamor world.

"I think so because there's no way a faulty relationship will survive when one of the two partners is not happy with it. It will gradually demolish." Aura had reasoned, he still smiled unconvinced.

So to convince him, she added, "If that doesn't sound appealing then should I say that you're an alpha and nobody can disagree with your orders! Eventually, Ms. Williams will have to take it as well."

"Perhaps you're right, Aura." He'd said with a grin and smirked at her, intending to say that she had learned quite a lot about him in these three years.

That's kind of true, she knew everything about him. From what he likes to his dislikes— She knew them all ,given that she worked more like his personal assistant than the Housekeeper of his house in the beginning days of her job.

She was busy buttoning his coat whereas he kept on smirking. Aurora felt her cheeks going all red as he was staring continuously at her and she found it next to impossible to breathe as the atmosphere was getting all hot— Just like him!

Once she was done, she had quickly turned around to get him his cell phone when she realized that he held her wrist and the next thing he did was pull her with a force that she crashed with his well built chest. He slid his right hand under her waist and pulled her hell close to him, that her chest was a clear view to his lusty eyes.

He looked at Aurora's curves as her breaths were fast and unevenly deep. Her chest was going up and down in a rhythm making him smile at the look of it. His touch was torture too as it was affecting her badly.

She had lowered her gaze as she was feeling uncomfortable with his fixed eyes on her, and kept her hands resting on his chest.

Sensing her uneasiness, he closed his eyes and joined their foreheads together whilst inhaling Aurora's scent slowly yet sexily!

They kept standing in that position for a long time. Neither of them spoke as they were busy feeling each other as much as they could. This was not the first time that they were sharing such a position yet it was rare. Hence, they stood there silently in each other's arms. She believed she was not the only one yearning for his attention!

"Be honest with me, Aura," He broke the silence by calling her by the nickname Aura. No one used to call her Aura except for her parents. And after their Demise, It is only Alpha Damien who addresses her with the nickname.

"Never have you ever felt anything for me?, I mean, it's... It's been three years since you're here with me living under the same roof and you've always seen me with infinite girls. I have always been the center of attention... And girls just go crazy in my presence. No matter where we are, they just want me. "

He had taken a pause, his eyes still closed, "Despite all these, don't you feel anything toward me— like anything? You know me like nobody knows. Even better than my parents. So, don't you ever feel like being with Me?" He had asked,making her skin freeze.

Aura very well perceived what he meant, but she just knew one thing that she was just his housekeeper. A mere housekeeper. And there was nothing more than gratification in her heart for him.

How could she forget how he had helped her after her parents'death! He took her in when the entire world turned its back on her since she was a human. Her parents belonged to the omega cast. Her father was a driver and mother a maid in the former alpha's (Damien's father) house. It was an unfortunate evening when both her parents died while saving the former alpha from a fatal attack that happened to him in his room. He was attempted to be killed by some rivals but her parents came to save him and took his death upon themselves.

Aura was in college when she got the news as Alpha Hunter had sent his beta for her. She had expected some words of condolences from the former alpha with regard to her parents' death alas he only announced that he would send her away to some other alpha's house.

However, Alpha's son, Damien Hunter interrupted his decision and brought her to his house. It was only alpha Damien who responded to her tears and sobs and took her inside his mansion not only giving her a roof but also a job that she could possibly do then—housekeeping.

He has really helped her so much. After all that he has done for Aurora, how could she expect more? Above all she was a mere human and he an alpha. There's no match at all.

"Aura , where are you lost?"He brought her back to the real world by pressing his palm on her back.

"Yeah?" His eyes had an urge. An urge to know her answer.

"Uhh Alpha, I guess you should get going or else Miss. Ginny will never let you go." Aurora said to divert his mind as there was no answer to his questions.

She would be the happiest girl in the world, but it's impossible. He deserves a stronger and better woman for a mate and not someone like her, a weak and helpless human girl who relies on him for her survival. He deserves a strong she- wolf. She thought.

"Ohh right, I should get going." She sucked a breath of relief as she was successful in diverting his mind.

He let go off her waist and took his cell phone which had 28 missed calls from his girlfriend.

"I am going, Aura, just pray for the good. " He stated and left the place with his smell everywhere while Aura left his lavish bedroom and walked towards hers.

Alpha Damien is a billionaire. He owns properties in various parts of the world — and is a silent but ruthless playboy. It's not like he plays with girls. But his personality does. It leaves no option for them but to end up in his bed . And she was certain he would find a new girl in no time.

But she really didn't want him to get a new girl as it was hard to witness him bring a new girl into his bedroom for— let's not get there!

She doesn't mind working as his housekeeper, it's just that she couldn't stop herself from falling more and more for him. He is insanely handsome.

Alas she was bound to her principles. She was aware he wanted her, however when he'd realize that he's got enough of her then he'd leave her and she couldn't risk that!!!

I felt so lonely. So isolated .

I couldn't go away nor could she get closer with him.

Tears made their way down her eyes and to her cheeks. Aurora broke down crying near the edge of the bed.

She felt lonely. She needed something to fill her life with love. And something was Alpha Damien, something that couldn't be hers.

She kept crying her heart out in the form of tears.

Aurora was busy pouring her emotions in the form of tears when, "Aura!" She heard Alpha's voice.

When she turned her head to the source then she found him standing at her doorstep "A-alpha, I.. I didn't realize that you were home " Aura stuttered, wiping her face while standing straight as he walked towards her.

The evening had dawned, she was so much into crying over her empty life that she didn't realize when afternoon transpired into evening.

"Why......... Are you crying?" He asked as his hands made their way to her waist. His favorite place.

"It's not—"

"Talk to me." He ordered. "I ought to know as your Alpha. What's wrong?" He asked, caressing her waist with his fingers firmly.

"You can tell me, Aura." He assured her.

"I... I just ... Felt lonely, " Aurora told him and lowered her gaze.

It was him why she felt like that but she couldn't blame him.

"Ohh," He spoke. "I am a fool, I should've noticed." He uttered, staring deep in her eyes.

"Your eyes are sparkling, Aura. You're... you're just beautiful." He claimed and latched their lips.

Ohh... Shitt!!

The Alpha was kissing HER!

He nibbled on her lower lip and kissed her gently. She didn't realize when she just started responding to his kiss even though it was her first time.

Aurora was spelled by his kissing skills. Indeed he was a good and experienced kisser... ohh!!!

And when he gained her response he deepened the kiss and began to ravish her mouth devotedly. His hands made their way to her chest as he pleasantly squeezed her breasts. It was roaming all over her body. Everywhere.

He then partially broke the kiss and said to her in his husky voice, "I can't stop myself, Aura. If you're uncomfortable then stop me." He released Aurora's mouth and attacked her neck.

She was loving this feeling. It was sweet and tempting. Not wanting to get detached from it, Aurora quickly said, "Please, Don't stop!"

She has tried to avoid getting attracted to him, maybe this would help her with her burning heart and tickling feelings. She always wished to know what makes all women die to sleep with him!

When he got a green signal from her, he picked her up in his arms, in a bridal style, and walked to his room. Reaching to the bed he placed Aurora down and came on top.

Next thing that happened was that the room was filled with her moans as he pulled their clothes off and made love to her like there was no end.

He was ravishing and exploring every part of Aura's body, making love to each cell on her frame. He had filled her whole body with love bites and hickeys. With that he had marked her his for eternity.

He came down off her and lay beside, panting. He kissed Aurora's forehead and said, "You're beautiful, Aura." She shied to his compliment and buried her face into the pillow. Looked as if he again sensed her uneasiness as he Damien came closer to cuddle her. She had gasped at his move but he gave an assuring smile, and like that they had called it a night.

(Phone ringing)

The loud noise of Aurora's phone's ringing snapped her back to reality. She blinked her eyes as she came back from the flashback and gulped her saliva. Gladly she was only re-watching it in her head.

"I don't know how I am going to face him after that incident." Aurora thought to herself and again resumed her work as her heart kept beating strongly over the

thoughts of him.

"Good night, Aurora. See you tomorrow." One of her co-workers waved at her, going towards her quarter.

They just finished their dinner and discussed all the important stuff that needed attention . Finally, when she retired to her room, Aurora recalled their second Encounter that transpired the following morning post her and alpha's make out.

He had asked her to bring coffee for him in his room, and she instantly had it presented before him.

"Aurora, I am throwing a party next month to celebrate the success of my company and I want you to set up everything in the house beforehand. I hope that's clear to you." Aura's eyebrows had shrunk realizing that he addressed her with her full name. That was so unlikely of him as he never… NEVER ever called her anything besides Aura.

"Y-yes Alpha, I will make sure it's done in the best way." She replied, forcing a smile, eagerly waiting for him to say anything about last night. Just anything.

"I hope so too. You can leave now." Her eyes had blinked in a daze when he didn't say anything about the other night.

"Yes sir."

"Don't forget to close the door." He'd stated with rudeness while Aurora nods and exited his bedroom.

He had behaved as if nothing happened between them that night. He seemed normal as though it was nothing. He'd remained unaffected which made her heart skip a beat and feel dejected.

But on a serious note, she knew this was bound to happen yet she let it transpire. That night happened with her consent, he's not to be blamed.

"Huh, my life is no less than a fairytale," Aurora swore it was because of the events that took place in her life.

Anyways, she settled on the bed and pulled the blanket to her chest, and closed her eyes. At least Aura didn't have to face him for the entire month which was the best part.

She had forgotten that Alpha Damien was a playboy. He kept no attachments with the women he slept with. The night he spent with her was one of those heavenly one-night stands he shared with other women, including herself. Aurora was no special to him. When he didn't care about the famous models and the daughters of other strong alphas then who she was? Just nothing. Nothing more than a Housekeeper at his mercy.

The realization did hurt because it was her first time, she was still happy. She didn't mind if he didn't look at her again. She didn't want him to do it either as it was better that way. It would save her heart from a severe break.

She instead worried about the party . Thankfully everything was done. All they have to do is wait for his arrival now.

With that thought, she closed her eyes attempting to catch some sleep but it was far from striking her heavy eyelids. It was only his face that flashed in the blackness when Aura put the window of her soul close. To avoid it, slowly she snuck out of bed and approached the window. Aurora was busy admiring the garden under the gloomy night while the night insects chirped outside the mansion, and it started raining.

"Wow." She smiled as she felt the cools breeze tickle her face under the drizzling rain.

The scenery caused her to forget all her worries. She loved the rain, for her, it was the season of love. Season of lovers.

The housekeeper was adoring it whilst catching some droplets in her palm when it happened— her golden-browns, like the afternoon bursts of sunshine, met with two bright lights of a car. She saw the watchman open the door. As it was inside the gate my heartbeats rose for it was his, Alpha Damien's.

She grew happy and excited, and of course, nervous at the same time. It's been a month since she saw him. Against her determination of not seeing him again unless needed, Aura ran out of her room and rushed to the garden with an umbrella in her hands.

She came out of the mansion and saw him already staring at her when she walked out of the main door, "Alpha Damien, you're here. Weren't you supposed to come after three days?" Her mouth turned into a soft grin , feeling so happy to see him again.

She felt… revived.

"Will you let me join you or else I'll catch a cold, Aurora." He stated with irritation, shaking his head.

"Ohh yes." Hastily Aurora ran to him, casting the umbrella's protection over his head.

As they started their walk, Aurora looked back at him and remarked, "You didn't answer me, Alpha. What brings you three days before the due time?"

He glared at her, his teeth jarred in vexation as he said . "This is my mansion. I come whenever I want. You better stop your stupid inquiry and walk faster!"

It came as a pang in her heart. Since when did she become so irritating that he had to use that tone with her?

Aura didn't drag it further as they padded ahead. Soon when they came inside, he jerked the umbrella away from above his head with such force that the housekeeper lost her grip on it and it fell on the floor.

She gasped at it, tears welled her large eyes while she shockingly gawked at his retreating figure.

"Bring my dinner in my chambers." He asserted while Aura wiped away her tears.

What has she done to get this?

In spite of being hurt, she came into the kitchen to get him his food. She placed it on the plate and put it in a tray along with some cucumber pickle, his favorite.

"Linda, take this food to Alpha's room." She's one of the kitchen staff, she smiled at Aurora and gladly took the tray with her.

Hardly two minutes rolled by when she entered his room, "Get out!" that Aura heard Alpha Damien bellow on top of his voice.

She quickly ran to his room and found the tray of food lying on the floor as Linda brushed past her, weeping loudly. Her heart thumped badly, still, she summoned her courage and gazed at him, "What's wrong, did she do something, sir?" Aura asked, making sure not to sound scared.

"I yelled at her and she dropped the tray" He shrugged his shoulders with ease, his eyes coming on my face.

"But why would you yell at her? That's not like you." Fearfully she said, feeling bad for Linda.

It's her fault that she asked her to carry Alpha's food for him. She has seen he was not in a good mood earlier, still. It made her feel gross and his silence increased her uneasiness.

"She's only twenty but works just about fine. Don't you feel bad for her, Alpha?"

"I feel bad for myself since I've asked you to bring it. Why did you send her to your place, Aura?"

"I was busy, Sir. You should know I have plenty of chores to do and I can't multitask, not even for you as I'm just a human." Heaviness centered in Aura's chest as sourness filled her stomach. She was annoyed over his faltering moods.

He locked her disappointed eyes with his emotionless ones, he could see he was petrified by her outburst. She has never talked like this with anybody, not even the rudest of servants at his mansion. But as he was, an exception in all parameters, he happened to be the one to see her angry side first.

"You weren't busy, Aura. You're just hurt because of my rude replies." He said out of the blue while his eyes caught hers in an intolerable eye lock.

Aurora's anger suddenly swept to nothing, heart throbbed in her chest , and fingers numbed in fatigue. Why does he have to do this to her weak heart?
