Chapter 1: A Thousand Ways for Daddy to Die | CEO's Secret Sixtuplets

"I must save Dad at any cost!"

Rachel Luther clutched the dagger in her hand, concealed it beneath her black hoodie, and knocked on the hotel door.

The door opened with a click.

A hand reached out from the dark room and yanked her inside forcefully!

"Don't touch me!"

Rachel was flung onto the large bed. Unable to see anything, she grasped the dagger and swung wildly in defense.

To save her father, who was wrongfully imprisoned, she had come to plead with her enemy Cassius Merrick.

But if Cassius took advantage of this opportunity, she was ready to fight for her life!

"Trying to kill me?"

An icy voice sounded from above her.

Christopher Bennett's eyes were piercing as he seized her wrist and pinned it above her head, "Who sent you?"

"Weren't you the one who arranged to meet me? Wait, you're not Cassius!"

Cassius was almost fifty, but this voice sounded so young!

Rachel was shocked.

She tried to explain, but no words came out.

Like a beast losing its sanity, Christopher kissed her, tearing at her clothes.

"Don't blame me. You brought this upon yourself!"

"No... You've got it wrong! Stop, stop now! Ah..."

When daylight broke, Rachel was still unconscious.

Christopher buttoned up his white shirt with his back to her, casting a cold glance her way.

This woman was strikingly beautiful.

Unfortunately, she was an assassin.

He glanced at the bright red stain on the bedsheet, lost in thought. Ultimately, he looked away and left the room without looking back.

Five years later.

Rachel, wearing an exaggerated wig and covered in freckles, led five young boys out of the airport.

Swoosh.

A luxury car pulled up.

The car door opened, and bodyguards respectfully lined up on either side.

"Wow! Mommy, is Daddy here to pick us up?" Rachel's youngest son, Ethan Luther, jumped excitedly.

Her eldest son, Oliver Luther, was cool and indifferent, "Stop dreaming. Hasn't Mommy already told us? We don't have a daddy!"

"That's right," Rachel touched her dark-framed glasses elegantly, a hint of hatred flickering in her eyes, "Five years ago, your daddy endured a perilous adventure in Sunhaven and unfortunately perished in a volcanic eruption!"

That man was nothing but a heinous criminal!

He ruined her life and delayed her final chance to save her father!

She genuinely hoped he was no longer part of this world.

Liam Luther, "Uh... Mommy, didn't you say that Daddy was eaten by a shark?"

Noah Luther, "What? You're mistaken! I heard that Daddy died of thirst after walking in the desert for seven days and nights!"

Alex Luther, "No, no, no, you're all wrong! Daddy was smashed to death by a meteorite falling from the sky!"

Rachel, "Uh... stop arguing, all of you!"

"So, how did Daddy really die? Mommy, you're not lying to us, are you?" Oliver asked, skeptical.

"Don't ask. Your daddy is no longer with us!"

"Humph, Mommy is brushing us off again. Actually..." Ethan whispered, "I divined using the divination tray that Daddy is still alive and right here!"

"Where?"

The other boys immediately looked around in excitement.

At that moment.

"Achoo, achoo!"

A series of sneezes sounded from within the luxury car!

A pair of expensive black bespoke shoes stepped out slowly...

A noble and handsome man emerged from the car, elegantly dressed in an embroidered suit.

Christopher covered his mouth and nose with a black gold handkerchief and cradled a pretty little girl in one arm.

As they brushed past them, the boys gaped in awe.

Noah, "Mommy, she's so pretty, just like a little princess. I think... I think I'm in love with her!"

"Don't be silly." Rachel rubbed his head.

Just then, a tractor, billowing black smoke, stopped in front of them.

Ethan, "Wow! What a big go-kart!"

Oliver, "Idiot, that's a tractor."

Liam, "Is this the vehicle that's come to pick us up?"

Noah looked disdainful, "I don't want to ride in that antique. I want the luxury car!"

Rachel, "You can have anything in your dreams."

Then, Rachel's cousin, Wilson Luther, hopped down from the tractor, ponytail flying and flashing a bright white smile.

"Rachel, you're finally back! I just finished harvesting the rice. I'm going to roast a pig for you!"

"Thank you, Wilson!"

After her father was arrested and bankrupt, her relatives left her to rot.

But Wilson, who farmed in the countryside, didn't hesitate to use all his savings to send her abroad and was even willing to take them in now.

Rachel was tremendously grateful.

"It's nothing. Look at these handsome little guys!"

With that, he hustled them onto the tractor and drove off with a rumble.

The little girl turned her head, holding her doll, and watched the tractor.

She raised her hand to her heart with a contemplative expression.

"Pain..."

"Huh?" Christopher narrowed his eyes and hugged the girl's waist tighter, "Ava, did you just speak?"

The butler and the bodyguards were overjoyed!

Christopher had chartered a private plane to take his daughter Ava Bennett to Mooncrest to seek treatment for her muteness!

But now, Ava had spoken on her own!

Ava murmured the license plate number she had just seen.

"Write it down and find them!"

"Yes, sir!"

Christopher looked at Ava indulgently and said tenderly, "We'll capture them and they'll be your pet, okay?"

Ava nodded in anticipation.

Her heart had started pounding when those people passed by.

It was as if, deep in the cosmos, something was calling her.

...

In the farmyard, the enticing aroma of roasted suckling pig filled the air.

Seven people gathered around, drooling with anticipation.

Suddenly, the wooden door was violently struck!

Rachel instantly became alert. She quickly pulled the children inside the house and stuffed them into a cupboard.

"Quick, hide!"

"What's going on?" Wilson followed.

The children were petrified by the sudden turn of events.

"They must be coming for me..."

Rachel's eyes narrowed, and with subdued anger, she clenched her fists.

"Dad repeated to me that he didn't kill anyone before he was arrested. The evidence is hidden in the Luther Villa. I couldn't find the evidence and was hunted. Now that I'm back in the country to clear his name, I've altered my identity and disguised myself, but they've still managed to find us... Wilson, I can't involve you and the children! Take care of them. I'll go and see!"

"No way! Mommy, it's going to be dangerous!"

Tears brimmed in the children's eyes as they clutched at her sleeves.

"Mommy, don't go. Don't leave us!"

"Rachel, leave it to me. You take the children and leave from the back door!"

Before Wilson could finish, the yard door had been breached.

Rachel bit her lip, wrenched her hands free from the children's grip, and dashed out the door!

Chapter 2: Be Mine! | CEO's Secret Sixtuplets

"Do you live here alone?"

Matthew Hayes, the man in charge, asked as he removed his sunglasses and surveyed her.

"Yes! Just me! Do what you will!" Rachel retorted, holding her head high.

"Is that tractor outside yours?"

Despite not understanding the situation, Rachel nodded in affirmation.

"Good! It seems you're the one Miss Ava has been searching for. Take her away!" Matthew commanded with a wave of his hand.

Rachel took a deep breath and glanced back towards the house.

"Take care of yourselves! Mommy will definitely return!" She thought.

"Mommy!"

The children cried, tears streaming down their faces.

"Why are they taking Mommy away?"

"Give us back our Mommy!"

After Rachel was escorted away by men in black, the children couldn't hold back their sobs any longer.

"Don't be afraid. Those people mean no harm to your Mommy. They probably have some other purpose. Let's just stay calm and wait at home. Maybe Mommy will be back soon!"

Wilson tried to comfort them, his bright eyes sparkling with hope.

...

In the car, Rachel was held by two bodyguards, sitting in the back seat.

"Why has Miss Ava suddenly taken an interest in this uncouth farm girl?"

"Yeah, I wonder if we can even pull this off. Let's just take her in to appease the situation..."

"Gentlemen, where are you taking me? And who is Miss Ava? Do I know her?"

Rachel realized that these people weren't sent by Cassius but by someone else entirely.

"You'll know once we arrive!" Matthew impatiently glanced at her afro.

"Here we are. Get out!"

The bodyguards twisted her arms and escorted her into a luxurious villa, which was complete with a racetrack and sky garden.

Rachel was dumbfounded. Her family had been well-off too, but she had never seen such a luxurious villa before.

It was clear the owner was extremely wealthy.

"Sit tight and wait here!" Rachel was pressed onto a seat in the foyer.

Christopher, with Ava in tow, descended the grand staircase.

The man was distinguished, standing well over six feet tall, with handsome features and captivating, hypnotic eyes.

The little girl clutched an old doll, wearing a tiny black dress, exuding a cool demeanor.

Rachel gasped.

She had seen the door in her father's study before!

It was the very same doll her father had brought with him on his trip to Mistvale.

And as soon as he returned, he was taken away by the police right before her eyes to be hastily executed...

"Is this the woman you were looking for, Ava?"

Christopher's eyes narrowed with disdain.

A wave of excitement surged through Ava, and her cheeks flushed with emotion.

Here she came!

Her heart pounded erratically, tears flowing uncontrollably!

She'd never felt anything this intense before!

"I want her!"

Ava pointed imperiously at Rachel.

Rachel, confused and a little offended, intervened.

"Excuse me, why have you brought me here? What do you want from me?"

Christopher shot Ava a knowing look.

Ava obediently went back upstairs.

The rest was up to Daddy!

Christopher approached Rachel, examining her wild afro, freckled face, and tanned skin with disdain.

Rachel looked up at him blankly, her eyes dull and lifeless behind her black-framed glasses.

"Disgusting."

Christopher snorted and looked away.

"Stop being so rude! Have you no manners?!" Rachel was indignant.

What a pity!

How could such a handsome man be so mean?

"If only you were mute on top of being unattractive."

Christopher's chilling gaze wandered as he lounged on the sofa opposite her.

"Starting today, you shall stay here as one of my people!"

"What? You want me to be your mistress?"

Rachel feigned shock, protectively crossing her arms over her chest. "Let me be clear! I'm not selling myself!"

"You wish," Christopher snorted, his mouth twitching, his expression darkening. "Do you think I'd be daft enough to take you, of all women, as a mistress?"

Rachel considered his point.

With her current appearance, she'd frighten off a robber at midnight.

"What then? You've brought me here out of the blue. There must be a reason. I haven't offended you!"

"Henry, explain!"

Christopher commanded, shooting a cold glance at the butler, Henry Carter.

Henry stepped forward, presenting a contract from his folder.

"Ms. Luther, we are offering a legitimate position. We hope you stay to serve as a maid and to accompany Miss Ava. If you find the contract agreeable, please sign here."

"Miss Ava? The lovely little girl? The girl is harmless, but this man is rude and intimidating," Rachel pondered.

She decided to think this over.

Biting the end of the pen, Rachel hesitantly took the contract. Her eyes lit up at the sight of the salary figure.

100,000 dollars a month!

It was a fortune!

Being a human punching bag seemed a fair trade-off at this point.

Plus, she was eager to uncover the story behind the doll...

"Sign here, right?" Rachel quickly filled out the contract, flashing a big smile. "May I ask when I can start work?"

Henry was taken aback.

"Tomorrow at eight, come for training!"

"No problem! I'll be on time. Thank you! Is there anything else? If not, I'll take my leave!"

Rachel waved cheerfully and departed, appearing quite content.

"Keep an eye on her," Christopher stared after her.

"Yes," Henry responded. "I'll arrange for someone to watch her every move and report back to you."

...

Rachel stepped out of the taxi and glanced at the rearview mirror, noticing two figures following her.

The first thing she did upon entering was to lock the door and signal the children to be quiet.

"Keep it down. We're being followed!"

"Well..."

The children nodded in understanding, bursting with excitement but keeping their voices low.

"Mommy, we're so relieved you're back! We were about to call the police!"

"Ethan's eyes are all swollen from crying!"

"Don't worry. Mommy's fine. Where's Uncle Wilson?"

"He went out to gather information about you."

As Wilson stepped in and saw her, he wept with joy, "Rachel... you're back!"

"Yes! And I got a job!" Rachel beamed.

"Really?" Wilson was surprised. "Doing what?"
