Chapter 1 — Introducing the Hollywood Princess | Dealing with Trouble (BLS #3)

Angelia Selosvone’s POV:

"That's a wrap!" the director said out loud.

Today is the last day of shooting. I'm really excited because I will have a break to take a vacation. I really need it because I've been working nonstop for the past 2 months.

I thanked the crew and everyone who worked hard on this movie. Yesterday, I decided to buy a lunch box for the crew and shared the love. I'm so grateful to have them as a team. They're really professional, fun, and good people.

"Hey, Angel," Wesley, my co-star called, and I turned to him.

"Hey, Wesley. What's up?" I asked.

"Um, are you free this Friday?" he asked nervously, and I chuckled.

"I'm sorry, I have to go to my parent's house in New York," I apologized.

"Okay then, maybe next time," he said awkwardly, and I smiled. I hugged him briefly and walked away.

"My Hollywood Princess," Mark, the director of the movie, said.

"Hey Mark, you did a great job." I hugged the old man and he chuckled.

"Thanks, muffin. So, any plans after this?" he asked.

"Just planning to go to my parent's house. They missed me," I stated.

"Okay, muffin, see you then! The premiere is in 6 months, okay?" I nodded and hugged him again before I left. I bid my goodbyes to the crew and walked to my van.

"Your plane leaves at 4 p.m.," Luisa, my manager, said.

"Okay." I nodded.

"How long will you stay there?" she asked.

"1 month, tops," I answered, but my eyes were glued to my phone, checking Instagram and Snapchat. What can I say? I'm the Hollywood Princess and people are paying attention to me.

"Don't do anything stupid, Angel. They have their eyes on you," she warned, but I just ignored her. Checking my messages, there were a ton of messages from guys. I never take interest in them because they're just…plain. I want to find someone who can give me chills just by staring into my eyes.

"Wilson texted me again to tell you that he's looking for you." Luisa was annoyed and I was even more annoyed by that fact. Wilson was my co-star last year. He's handsome, but nah…I don't like blondes.

"Ignore him, block him," I said.

"How I wish someone would make Janet Locason's book into a movie!" Luisa squealed. She read that book over and over again. I read it and it was good, but I'm not a maniac like Luisa.

"She just released that book like 3 months ago and there's still a long way to go." I rolled my eyes.

"She's lucky. She mocked Sky and then she met him in person. They fell in love, and boom, got married," Luisa said dramatically.

"I bet they’re only good looking in pictures," I stated.

"Angel, they're Greek gods. Handsome as hell." Drama queen.

"Whatever."

Not long after that, I arrived at my apartment. I quickly take a shower and change into black skinny jeans, a white tank top, and a black leather jacket. I do my make up fast and simple and pull my hair into a ponytail.

I grab my sunglasses and put them on. I quickly packed a few things; I didn’t need to bring a lot of clothes because there was a lot at my parents’ house. I put on my white sneakers and walked out of the house with my small luggage bag in hand.

"Let's go," I said to Luisa, and we walked to the van again. The driver drove straight to LAX. I closed my eyes and decided to sleep for a while.

"Angel." Someone poked me. "Angel, wake up, we're at the airport." Luisa poked me again and I slowly opened my eyes. I put my sunglasses on again and got out of the car.

I grabbed my luggage and walked in, queueing to check in. People were starting to recognize me, so they started taking out their phones and recording and taking my picture. I was already used to this, so it wasn’t a big deal at all.

After checking in, a few fans greeted me and asked for photos. I was so glad that they loved me, and I couldn't thank them enough. I wouldn't be the Hollywood Princess without them.

I waited at the boarding gate to board the plane. I was so excited to go home. It had been a long time since I saw my parents. The flight was 5 and a half hours and landed in New York safely. I quickly grabbed my luggage and ran out of the airport, knowing that they would be there waiting for me.

I saw my parents waving and I quickly ran to them. I hugged them tightly because I missed them so badly.

"I missed you guys so much," I said.

"We missed you too!" my mom said.

"I missed you so much!" My dad ruffled my hair, and I glared at him. I knew people were looking at us and some of them even whispered my name. Thank God, my parents were used to the attention that I got.

"So, how are you guys?" I asked as I got inside the car. My dad drove away from the airport.

"Good, and by the way, Kayla’s already waiting for you back home." My eyes widened and I squealed.

Kayla’s been my best friend since high school, and we had been friends for 7 years. I missed her so much. Being in LA for 2 months made miss home more than I thought I would. We talked about many things until we arrived at home. I ran out of the car and saw Kayla standing in front of our door. I hugged her tightly.

"I missed you, HP." HP was short for Hollywood Princess.

"Missed you too, KP." KP was short for Kayla Payton, her full name.

"Hello, Raline and Baren," Kayla greeted my parents, and we all walked inside my house. Kayla and I walked upstairs to my room, and I threw myself on my precious bed.

"Let's go party tonight," Kayla said.

"I just got here," I said, and she plopped herself beside me.

"So? Let's go! I miss you and the first thing I wanna do with you is party!" she said, begging me.

"Where?"

"The usual private bar."

"Call them," I said.

Chapter 2 — Who Is He? | Dealing with Trouble (BLS #3)

Angelia Selosvone’s POV:

I looked at myself in the mirror to check my appearance one more time. I turned around to see the back of myself. I curled my hair into big, loose curls. I applied my make up and put my earrings on.

I wore a black dress with a V cut and straps that crossed over my chest. The dress stopped at my upper thigh. I smiled at the mirror, completely proud of myself for looking this good.

I put on my nude high heels and was ready to go. I grabbed my clutch and put everything I needed inside. I looked at the clock. Kayla would pick me up in a minute.

My phone rang and I quickly answered it.

"I'm here,” she said, and I ended the call. I walked downstairs and saw my mom baking something.

"Mom, I'm going out," I announced.

"Where?"

"With Kayla," I answered.

"Be back before 11." I rolled my eyes. She still gave me a curfew like I was 17 years old. I was freaking 25.

"Bye." I walked out from the house and quickly got into Kayla's car before someone spotted my presence.

"You look good, girl," Kayla said, excited.

"Thanks, and you look hot too!" I gave her a thumbs up. She was wearing a short, dark blue dress with spaghetti straps. She quickly drove her car straight to the private bar.

She parked her car in the basement garage, and we took the lift to the club. She had already reserved our names, so we could go in without waiting. I looked around to see a lot of people dancing on the dance floor or just having a drink.

Kayla and I decided to get a drink first and then we would go to the dance floor. Walking towards the bar, I smiled at the bartender.

"Angelia Selosvone," he said as his eyes widened.

"The one and only." I smirked.

"What can I get for you?" he asked.

"Classy cocktail, please," I said as I pointed at the menu. He smiled.

"What about you, sexy?" he asked Kayla as she scanned the menu.

"Lime cocktail, please, handsome," Kayla flirted, and I chuckled. I sat on a stool and waited for our drinks. I scanned the room hoping to find someone interesting.

Nothing.

"Here you go." The bartender gave the drink to me, and I sipped it. The taste made me want more.

"Nice drink," I said.

He smirked. "Of course, a beautiful lady has to get that."

After talking for a while with Kayla, just catching up a little bit, I wanted to go to the dance floor. I wanted to shake my body a little bit.

"Let's dance," I said to Kayla, and she nodded. We walked to the dance floor and moved our bodies to the beat. I danced to the loud music and just enjoyed the night. I was dancing and dancing when suddenly I saw 4 guys on the 2nd floor. They were talking and sipping their wine, and they looked familiar. I walked towards the stairs to find out who they are.

I walked up the stairs. They were standing across the room from, so I had to walk quite far to get to them. I walked through the 2nd floor when suddenly a security guard stopped me.

"What are you doing, miss?" he asked.

I smiled sweetly, hoping that he would let me pass. "I have to meet the man right there," I said.

"Sorry miss, this is a private area." I looked at him in disbelief.

"I need—"

"This is a private area, miss. You have to go, or I'll call security," he said. I stomped my feet, annoyed. I walked back to the stairs when my eyes met beautiful brown eyes.

He was so handsome that I couldn't take my eyes off him. His jawline was perfect, and he had a thin beard and mustache that made him look so manly. His brown hair was styled up, which suited him. He had broad shoulders and had to be at least 6"2'. He gave me a smirk and drank his beer.

My heart skipped a beat. I kept my eyes on him when he suddenly walked into a private room. I cursed continuously. I needed to know who he was.

While I was busy with my thoughts, I saw him walking out of the private room. He glanced at me again and smirked. I waited for him to walk past me, but after a few minutes he was gone.

I quickly walked down and started to look for a way out. Suddenly, someone pulled my arm. I squealed in shock.

My eyes widened as the man I saw earlier pinned me to the wall. His face was even more handsome up close. His eyes were very sexy, and he was like a Greek god—the definition of perfect. He trapped me between his hands and looking at me like I was his new prey.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" he said in a deep voice. My heart literally went crazy. My breath hitched as I looked into his beautiful brown eyes.

"What's your name, beautiful?" he whispered as he caressed my arms all the way down to my wrist with the back of his hand, making me shiver like crazy.

"Angel," I answered nervously.

"Angel. What an innocent name." The light illuminated him and made him look sexier. I gulped nervously. "What are you doing on the 2nd floor, Angel? Do you know that the 2nd floor is a devil's lair?" he asked. I literally couldn’t take off my eyes off him.

"I-I didn't kn-know about that," I stuttered.

"Make sure you never step on that floor again, little Angel," he whispered in my ear and left a small kiss on the side of my cheek. He smirked at me and left.

"Wait!" I called and tried to follow him, but he was gone.

Shoot!
