Chapter 1 You're Boring | Fifty Shades Temptation

[Bethany, you're so boring.]

[With you being so boring, I can totally imagine how awful our married life would be.]

In the bustling hospital corridor, Bethany Campbell sat on a bench with her head hanging low, her mind filled with the words of her fiancé, Clinton Riddle.

Bethany thought, “Is that really such a big deal?”

Soon, her name echoed through the hall.

Bethany shook off her thoughts and entered the consultation room, sitting down and softly saying, "Mr. Harper."

At the sound of her voice, the man's fingers, which had been tapping on the keyboard, suddenly stopped, and he looked up slightly. His cold eyes behind his glasses scanned her. "Bethany?"

His voice was hoarse, carrying the same coldness as his gaze.

Their eyes met.

As Bethany looked at the man wearing a mask, she couldn't help but feel dazed. Not only did his voice sound familiar, but his appearance seemed somewhat reminiscent of that man in her memories.

But Bethany had an appointment with a doctor called Mr. Harper.

She must have mistaken him for someone else.

Coming back to her senses, Bethany nodded and said, "Yes, I might be frigid. Is this treatable?"

The doctor furrowed his brow. "Why do you doubt yourself? Have you had a physical examination?"

Bethany replied calmly, "Not yet, but my fiancé and I are not in harmony in that aspect."

"In what way are you not in harmony? Is it a lack of sensation during intimacy, or is it too dry?" The man's voice was somewhat deep.

Despite Bethany's usual composure, her face couldn't help but flush at such a blunt question.

She pretended to be calm and said, "I don't like him touching me. Whenever he touches me, I feel repulsed."

The man furrowed his brow, and there was a subtle gleam in his eyes.

Bethany felt somewhat uncomfortable.

There was a brief silence, and then the man stood up and said lightly, "Follow me for an examination."

Bethany followed him behind the privacy curtain, watching as he calmly put on disposable gloves and casually said, "Take off your pants and lie on the bed, legs apart."

Before coming for the appointment, Bethany had a general idea of what to expect, knowing there would be a physical examination, so she complied.

She was quite embarrassed, even though there was no privacy in the eyes of a doctor. But when it came to spreading her legs for the examination, her heart raced with nervousness.

As the man began the examination, Bethany clenched the edge of the bed tightly, almost screaming, "Sir."

The man immediately stopped and looked down at Bethany, who had turned pale. "What's wrong?"

Bethany's panicked demeanor changed. "I'm still a virgin... Please be gentle."

Bethany wasn't a traditional woman, but his approach was too crude. She didn't want to lose her virginity like this, especially not in the hands of a doctor.

Moreover, if Clinton found out that she lost her virginity like this, even if the illness were cured, their engagement would undoubtedly be ruined.

Bethany lowered her eyelashes, and her cheeks flushed, radiating a kind of indescribable allure.

Somehow, Bethany heard a subtle change in the man's breath, as if he had relieved a burden.

Before she could think more, the man removed his gloves and looked at her coldly. "Since you're still a maiden, I can check for you."

Chapter 2 Treating the Illness | Fifty Shades Temptation

Bethany felt a sense of relief and relaxed all over, admitting to the man, "I'm getting married next month. I can't afford to mess things up because of this illness."

The Campbell Group's financial situation was in trouble. Her father, leveraging her sick mother, threatened her to ensure the marriage alliance and got funds from the Riddle family. Otherwise, her mother's hefty medical bills would be cut off.

And this illness was the only obstacle to the marriage.

For the safety of her mother, Bethany had to get treated and win Clinton's heart.

Just the thought of Clinton's bland and disdainful gaze, Bethany couldn't help but look cold.

"How are your feelings for him?" the man asked as he inserted a cotton swab between her legs.

The foreign sensation made Bethany nervous again.

However, she could still accept this routine gynecological examination.

Bethany took a deep breath and replied nonchalantly, "Not bad."

The man nodded and said, "Well, after all, you're getting married."

As he finished speaking, the man withdrew the cotton swab. "Get dressed and take the specimen for testing. Come back to me when you have the results."

Bethany stood up, putting on her pants while watching the man's broad back. She asked, "Do I need to do any other tests?"

The man, in the midst of removing his medical gloves, paused and turned to glance at Bethany. "Since you're afraid of losing your virginity, what other tests would you like to do?"

There was a suggestive undertone in his words.

Bethany wanted to explain but felt it was unnecessary, so she simply said no and hurriedly left with the specimen.

The man stared at her hurried departure.

It wasn't until the door closed that he leisurely threw the gloves into the trash can, a faint smile playing at the corner of his lips. "Just like before, still blushing at the slightest teasing."

...

While waiting for the test results, Bethany received a call from her father.

"How did it go? Did the doctor say your illness is treatable?" Alvin Campbell sounded quite anxious over the phone.

He regarded her as their cash cow. If the illness couldn't be cured, Bethany couldn't get married, and the Campbell family would be finished.

Bethany lowered her gaze, her tone as cold as usual when she said, "I'm waiting for the test report. It shouldn't be a big problem."

Pausing for a moment, she added, "Rest assured, I will definitely marry into the Riddle family."

Hearing this, Alvin laughed, "Good. I knew handling someone like Clinton would be a piece of cake for you."

Seizing the moment of his self-satisfaction, Bethany made a request. "But I have a condition."

Alvin instantly became cautious. "What do you want?"

Bethany said, "I want you to get my mother out of the sanatorium early. I want to take her on a trip before the wedding to ease her mind, so nothing goes wrong on the wedding day."

At the mention of his ex-wife, Alvin suddenly became stern. "Do you also know your crazy mother could cause trouble? In my opinion, it's best not to let her attend the wedding."

Bethany gripped her phone tightly, her knuckles turning white. "Then who would be appropriate to attend? Your mistress? Don't forget, it's because of you and your mistress that Mom became like that."

"Bethany, mind your language. Marlee is my lawfully wedded wife. It's only natural for her to sit in the place of honor." Alvin was starting to get angry.

"If you dare to do that, I'll call off the wedding. Let's see if Marlee Barrett will still want to be with you when you go bankrupt." With these words, Bethany hung up the phone in a hurry.

Bethany saw a familiar figure downstairs. It looked like Clinton, and he was with a young woman.

The two of them were intimate, heading towards the direction of the gynecology clinic...
