Chapter 1 | Leonardo & Juliet (TRS #3)

Juliet Calland:

I walked into the restaurant and looked at Leonardo with hatred. I can't believe that he called me yesterday to tell me that we're going to get married by the end of this year. I forced him to come to Paris to say it to my face.

All the employees bowed to me and greeted me formally. I walked to Leo and gestured to all the employees to leave us alone.

Leonardo smirked looking at me and he gestured to me to sit down. I said down across him and put my bag on the seat beside me.

"I'm not going to marry you," I said and he suddenly put a paper in front of me. I looked at the paper and then I looked at him in disbelief.

"Do you think I want to marry you?" he scoffed and I laughed dryly.

"So...you're giving me this marriage contract hoping that I will agree and sign it?" I asked.

"Why? You want to stay married to me forever?"

I grabbed the glass beside me, completely wanting to throw this glass at his head. He's freaking crazy! Leonardo here, or should I say the future King of Denmark, never liked me. He hates me with every single cell in his body. You can say that we're childhood friends because our family loved to go on vacations together.

But...me and Leo have never been civil with each other.

My twin, Jayson, and Leo are quite good friends. Jayson wanted me to be with Leonardo because he said that Leo is a good man, decent and really considerate. He's not like Carter who loves to fuck around town with every girl that he sees. People said that Leo was meant to be King and people loved him.

I can't help but agree about that part. He is smart, generous and quite wise for his age.

"I'm not going to marry you, Leo. You're sick for suggesting this contract," I said as I tore the paper into two.

"Our parents will set us up sooner or later, so why not have this agreement beforehand?"

"You hate me, Leo. Why don't you find another woman? I bet there are tons of girls out there who would want to marry you." I smiled sweetly at him and he shook his head.

"Girls give me headaches and I'm not planning to settle down now. I just want to take over the throne and find love later on."

"And what about me? You're selfish, Leo. You only think about yourself and for your own good."

"That's why I want you to tell me what you want. We're here to change whatever you want in the contract. I will try to cooperate with you." He smirked and I wanted to slap his fucking handsome face.

"I will not marry you, Leonardo. I will make it clear from this second that I will never marry you. We're not in love with each other, and besides I don't want to get married to someone who hates me with every single cell in his body."

"Fair enough...how about this..." He put his hands on the table as he leaned forward.

"You find me a bride."

"Me? Finding you a bride? What am I? A matchmaker? I'm a designer and I have no time to find you a bride!"

"I bet you have decent friends and you to introduce them to me," he said as he raised his eyebrows and grinned evilly at me.

"You're sick! Ask your sister, Aria. I bet she has a lot of connections," I said as I leaned back to my seat.

"Aria is busy."

"And I'm not?" I eyed the vase beside my glass completely wanting to throw it at his head.

"Ah! You're busy fucking boys around..." he said as he clapped his hands once.

That's it! I got up from my seat and walked to his side, planning to slap him. He caught my hand before it landed on his face.

"Why? I'm wrong?!" he asked me in a cold tone as his eyes darkened.

"It's my life; I can do whatever I want!" I said as I tried to pull my hand away from his grip.

"Not anymore...you're going to find me a bride or you'll be my bride instead, Juliet," he said seriously as he pulled my body closer. He slipped his other hand around my waist, making me look at him annoyed.

"I'm not going to be your bride, Leo. You're sick!"

"Find me a bride then...introduce me to all your friends who you think are decent enough to be my bride, then I'll let you go." I pushed his chest trying to get away from him.

"What do you say, Juliet?"

"I don't want to be involved in your crazy ideas, Leo. Find someone else to do it for you because I'm busy."

"Ah...busy," he said nodding.

"I'll let you be busy, but don't forget that we'll have our wedding soon, wife." My eyes widened hearing him calling me wife. I felt so weird hearing it from his mouth.

"There will be no wedding for us! I will—” Leo shut me off by crashing his lips to mine. I was caught off guard and I never imagined this situation in my life. Leonardo, the person who hated me the most, is kissing me.

"Are you crazy?" I pushed him away and he looked at me smirking.

"I'll tell you one last time, Juliet. Find me a bride or you'll be my bride instead...it's your choice. You only have 6 months or else you will find yourself married to me," Leo said as he sat down on his seat again.

"Fine! I'll find you a bride...give me a week and I'll go to Denmark to give you the list," I said as I walked back to my seat, taking my bag.

"I can't wait to see the list, Juliet," he said as he held onto his glass of wine.

"Promise me that you will leave me alone after that..." I said and he turned his head to me.

"No promises, wife."

"Don't call me that!" I looked at him in horror.

"I will stop calling you that after you find me a decent bride."

Chapter 2 | Leonardo & Juliet (TRS #3)

Leonardo Nielsen:

I laughed so hard after I got into my limo to go to the airport after seeing Juliet. I wanted to laugh seeing her expression when I told her that we're going to get married by the end of this year.

She thinks she can get away from this marriage? There'll be no chance for her to get away from me. It's my time to trap her.

I never hated Juliet; it's impossible to hate her. No one could ever hate her. She's too perfect.

The reason I never act civil around her is because she always makes me go crazy. I've known her since she could walk and we spent a lot of time together with our family.

She's always been sweet and she has the charm to make everyone loves her. She's sweet, fun to be with, beautiful, talented and the only girl who can make me leave everything I'm doing to be with her.

It's a bad sign for me.

When she turned 20, her parents threw a really big birthday party. She showed up looking so beautiful in her sexy red dress. My heart almost popped out that day seeing her looking so beautiful. She grew up very well and turned into a really beautiful woman.

One thing that I don't like from her is how she can easily take people's breath away with her smile and those beautiful eyes.

Men lined up to be with her and she always loves attention from them. I hate how she can easily fall in love and be with anyone who can take her heart. She changes her partner like she changes her clothes. I hate how she acted like Carter sometimes.

I like her...I've always like her, but I tried not to.

I will make her go crazy, I will make her hate me, I will think of me, I will make her love me and I will make her my bride.

This is a good opportunity for me since our parents will arrange us soon. I will make her my bride by the end of this year.

A week later...

"Your Highness, Princess Juliet wants to see you." I smirked hearing that she's here.

"Bring her in," I said as I kept writing my journal. I heard her steps walking into my study room and I looked up at her. She brought a big black file with her and she was wearing a short black skirt with white shirt.

"What? You want me to bow?" she asked and I just gestured to her to sit on the chair in front of me.

"You brought the list?" I asked and she put the big black file in front of me.

"I have 7 candidates for you."

"Only 7?" I raised my eyebrows and she gestured to me to wait. She put her bag on the ground and she opened the file in front of me.

"First candidate, Maria Colombo," she said as she pointed at the first picture.

"She's Italian-American. She's the daughter of Rossi Colombo. You know Rossi Colombo, right?" she asked as she looked at me.

"Pass," I said, gesturing to her to tell me the next candidate. I honestly have no interest. I want the woman in front of me to be my bride, but I can't just tell her that directly. We have to play games.

"I'm not finished, Leo," she hissed, looking at me, and I found her glancing at my lips. I wanted to laugh at her so bad for being so obvious. I know that she's trying so hard to keep herself sane.

"I don't like Rossi Colombo, he's a crazy man. I don't want to have a crazy father-in-law." She rolled her eyes and she showed me the next candidate.

"Castella Constine."

"Sounds like a cake name or a bread name," I said and I looked at Juliet. She looked like she's going to kill me instead of laughing at my comment.

"Just because her name sounds like a cake, it doesn't mean she's not decent. She's one of the richest businesswomen in Paris. She's a really nice person."

"Leonardo and Castella! It's like me and a cake...I like Leonardo and Juliet better," I said and Juliet sighed.

"Don't be an idiot!" she said as she opened a new page.

"Jessica Deyes." Juliet pointed at the next picture and I put my head on my hand, looking at the picture completely bored. I'm more entertained seeing Juliet explaining.

"She has a beautiful name!" I flinched hearing her shouting at me.

"Why are you shouting at me?" I looked at her disbelief and she sighed.

"You're not listening!"

"I'm listening, wife."

"Don't call me that!"

"Why wife?"

"Leonardo!" She smacked my desk and I put my hands in front her asking her to calm down. I got up from my seat and she plopped herself on the chair. She sighed and I chuckled looking at her.

"You know this Jessica Deyes?"

"She's my friend from Swiss. She just graduated from Harvard last year, so she's a smart girl. She can keep up with your love for books," she said and I looked at her photo. Jessica Deyes looks beautiful, but I'm not that interested.

"I like smart girls," I nodded.

"She can keep up with your boringness." Juliet here...is the only one who always complains how boring I am as a person. It's my habit to bring books everywhere I go even if I'm on vacation. She always called me boring every time she had the chance to.

"Ahh...I'm not that boring, Juliet. Do you want me to show you that I'm not that boring?" I smirked as I walked to her. She got up from her seat at the speed of light.

"What are you doing?"

"I will show you that I'm not as boring as you though I would be," I said as I walked closer to her.

"You don't need to..."

"Why are you walking away?" I smirked as I kept walking closer to her.

"Why are you walking closer to me?" She pointed at my legs.

"I'm going to—”

"Don't even think about kissing me again!" she cut me off and I raised my eyebrows.

"What?" I laughed, hearing her bursting at me like that.

"You think I'm going to kiss you? Oh Juliet...if you want me to kiss you so bad, all you need is ask. I'm willing to give it to you, wife." She threw a pillow from the sofa to my face.

"I hate you!"
