My Blood Alpha

“Alpha Lain is coming to our pack tonight."

“Really? Oh my moon goddess, I can’t wait to see him. He’s ridiculously handsome.” “But why is he coming here so suddenly? He had never visited our pack before!” “Who knows? I’ve heard that he’s looking for his mate. Wish I could be his mate…”

Lain Osiris! The man who holds the title of Blood Alpha. His name screamed with danger, pain, terror and death. He was just twenty six years old but he had killed thousands of people. He looked handsome and gorgeous but he’s a beast! A nightmare of every man but yet women are lusting after him. He was.. Just nothing but a blood sucking lycan. He needs others' blood to live and he was no different than a vampire.

Once in every five hundred years, a man was selected to be the Blood Alpha. The man who becomes the Blood Alpha has limited life and limited desires. Everyone called it the curse of the moon goddess. But to Lain, it was not a curse. He was so proud of himself because he became the Blood Alpha and he thanked the moon goddess for blessing him with such power. He became the god of death with the power.

“My lady, we didn’t see you coming.”

Elvira was pulled back to reality from her thoughts about Blood Alpha hearing a voice of one of the maids who were talking about him. Biting her lower lip, Elvira looked at the maid and smiled forcefully. She was walking past the dining room but hearing them talking about Alpha Lain, she stopped and listened to them carefully. She was unaware of the fact that Alpha Lain is coming here tonight.

“Well.. I.. I’m going.. Continue your work, Sima..” With a smile, Elvira hurried her steps away from the dining hall. Her heart was hammering against her chest with terror. She was really scared of Alpha Lain. Clutching the long skirt of her dress that she was wearing, she ran to see her father. Pushing open the door to the study room in the mansion, she barged in without even caring about anything to see her father, Alpha Seamus was having a discussion with his beta and a few warriors.

“ELVIRA UMAY! I have warned you not to barge into the study room like this!” Her father’s voice was cold as he said. She immediately shook her head with apology and looked at everyone who was present there looking at her with questioning gazes. She sighed and parted her lips to speak.

“Is it true that.. Alpha Lain is coming here tonight?” She aimed a question at everyone in the study room. Hearing her question, everyone clenched their jaws and lowered their heads. So they knew? They all knew that Alpha Lain is coming here tonight but she didn’t know! Elvira stared at her father and pressed her lips together.

“He’s coming here but that doesn’t mean I’m showing you to him, Elvira.. Don’t be scared. Just stay inside of your room all the time. Don’t step out. I was about to come to you after this meeting.” She nodded at her father obediently and lowered her head. She didn't need any advice for that, she would not come out of her room until tomorrow and it was obvious. She was terrified of Lain Osiris.

“Even if he sees you, nothing will happen. You won’t feel anything for him. Just ignore his presence Elvi..” Suddenly Elvira lifted her head and looked at her father’s unbothered look. He looked so calm and nonchalant as he said that but she couldn't understand what he was saying. She won’t feel anything for him? What was that? Of course, she would never feel anything for a man like him. He was totally a killer machine.

“What.. Do you mean?” She was confused by her father’s words.

“Nothing. Go to your room, Elvi. I will come in a while” Without arguing, Elvira turned and walked out of the study room. Coming into her room, she lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling above her. While she was staring at it, her mind was suppressed by the memories from ten years ago.

It was the first time Elvira saw Lain. She was just a ten year old kid when she witnessed the most brutal thing in her life. She saw Lain killing more than five men at once. She was hiding behind a bush while covering her mouth with both her hands because of the fear. She was scared to make any sound. She saw him, sucking those men’s blood as if he was choosing which man’s blood was the most delicious.

“How fucking disgusting your blood tastes.. Ugh.. I didn’t have to suck on your blood. Shit!” “Just like your appearance, your blood is also a shit!”

Throwing dead bodies on the ground heartlessly, he spoke to himself with a displeasure filled face. His voice was so powerful and held the aura of an emperor. Elvira still remembered his profile. He was devilishly handsome. His pitch black messy hair, his thick dark eyebrows and his almond shaped emerald eyes which held blood thirst.

“Don’t!” Elvira opened her eyes and forced herself not to think about his face. For years, she failed to forget his face.

That scenario haunted her every night. She was totally terrified. Even if ten years have passed, she still couldn’t get those scenes out of her mind. Elvira’s fingers trembled even remembering that thing. She would never ever want to see him again in her lifetime. Thinking about it, she opened her eyes and looked at the clock to see the time. It was five in the evening. That means, he will come here in a while.

With a fear filled clumsy heart, she sat up on the bed and covered her face with her both hands. She shouldn’t be scared of him. He was no threat to her and he doesn’t even know her existence in this world. Calm down Elvira, he will not harm you. Don’t be afraid.. She thought. Her thoughts didn’t even help herself not to stay without being afraid but she decided to ignore everything just like her father asked her to.

“Sima… come here” Elvira slightly opened the door of the room at night and saw Sima walking past her room. She immediately called her. It was eleven at night and she wanted to know what was happening outside since she was forbidden from stepping out of the room. Seeing her, Sima immediately came into the room and shut the door behind her.

“My lady.. You shouldn’t do this! Alpha warned us not to let you out” Elvira nodded at Sima and sighed. She knew it but she wanted to know.

“I know.. I’m not coming out. Just wanted to know what’s happening outside. Did Alpha Lain come? Is he with my dad? What is he doing here?” She asked so many questions at once. Sima pressed her lips together and stared at the clumsy girl in front of her before parting her lips to speak.

“Yes, Alpha Lain is here. He’s discussing something with our Alpha.” Elvira nodded. She would ask her dad what he was talking to Alpha Lain. Elvira parted her lips to speak but before she could speak, Sima spoke, making Elvira’s eyes widened.

“But.. Alpha Lain looked somewhat weird. His sharp eyes are traveling everywhere inside of the dining hall and I even saw him sniffing air a few times. Most importantly, he has a small sneer on his face. He’s handsome and there was no doubt but I felt fear when I saw him” Sima was an honest woman. She was in her mid thirties and she was the one who took care of Elvira almost every time. So, she said everything to Elvira without hiding anything.

“Really? But why would he??”

“SIMA…. Come… serve more champagne to the table.” Elvira heard the voice of the head butler of the mansion. As soon as Sima heard the voice, she simply left the room without answering Elvira’s question. After she left, Elvira locked the door of the room and walked into the washroom. She wanted to go to sleep after getting a fresh shower.

Elvira stayed in her bathtub while applying healthy body lotions on her radiant skin. After freshening herself, she changed into a nightdress. A nightdress which was revealing her skin too much. But she didn’t care because she was going to sleep now. After combing her long hip length hair, she braided it loosely before going to the bed. Then she closed her eyes to sleep.

After some time, while she was sleeping, Elvira was jolted awake hearing the loud sound of a door kicked open. She sat up on the bed subconsciously. Her heart rammed inside of her with shock. She looked at the entrance of the room to see a familiar strong, handsome man standing there with a piercing stare. Soon, he growled.

“MINE!!!!!”

Elvira was terrified as her eyes were covered with tears. Isn’t… isn’t this Lain Osiris? What is he doing here? Why is he standing there after kicking her door break? Her heart was covered with endless questions which made her body covered with cold sweat. Reflective shudders ran through her body without stopping with his glowing emerald orbs on hers.

“Alpha.. We don’t have any reason to go there. It’s a normal pack."

Lain was sitting in the front seat of his jeep while looking out of the window. He heard his beta’s voice but he ignored it completely. He also didn’t want to go to a normal pack like that but his wolf was forcing him to go there so he couldn’t help but wanted to take his reckless wolf by doing what he wanted. It was almost eight at night when he arrived at the Night Moon pack.

Jumping down from the jeep after the door was opened by his beta, he looked at the alpha of this pack who was waiting for him with a small smile on his lips. Lain stared at him for a while and moved his eyes through everyone present as his beta placed his black leather trench coat on his shoulders. Looking ahead, he stepped towards the men and stopped in front of them.

“Welcome to the Night Moon pack, Alpha Lain Osiris” Alpha Seamus lowered his head and said with a voice which held both fear and respect. Lain eyed Alpha Seamus for a while and then chuckled before parting his thin sexy lips to speak.

“It’s Blood Alpha Lain Osiris!” His words made everyone lower their heads even more. Even a few words of his could scare the people. Seeing their fearful faces, Lain smirked and spoke again.

“Let’s go inside”

Lain spent time inside of the mansion while talking to the Alpha. Even if he felt something strange and his wolf acted somewhat stubborn inside of him. He ignored everything as he stayed there calmly while his eyes were looking at the warriors of Alpha Seamus. They looked strong and muscular. Inside the dining hall, while he was having dinner, he suddenly felt a strong scent of fresh flowers. He stopped his actions. He placed the fork in his hand aside and sniffed the air while focusing on that fucking please nt scent.

“Alpha… would you like to have wine or champagne? If not, anything else?” breaking his focus, Alpha Seamus asked him politely. Lain’s eyes fell on Alpha Seamus and he chewed his bottom lip as he ignored him completely and sniffed the air again but the scent had disappeared.

“Wine..” he replied. Continuing his food, he looked at the maids who were there while blushing. Some of them peaked at him secretly while some of them tried so hard to be attractive. It was not a new thing to him, so he simply ignored them and turned to Alpha Seamus with a smile on his face.

“Seamus.. I’ve heard that you have a beautiful daughter who resembles your late wife. Where is she? I didn’t see any beauty here.” he asked. His question made Alpha Seamus’s eyebrows twitch. He clenched his jaws and looked at Lain before giving a fake smile which was filled with so many strange emotions. Lain raised his eyebrows looking at him as he waited for his answer.

“Well.. she got married and left the mansion a few months ago. She’s now living with her husband” Alpha Seamus’ reply didn’t satisfy Lain. he licked his lower lip and stared at Seamus. Shifting his gaze to his beta, Alec. his beta immediately understood what Lain’s gaze meant.

“She got married? I see, what a pity. I got to know from some Alphas that you have the most gorgeous daughter among every member in the Alpha council. Since I am looking for a woman with alpha blood to give birth to an heir for me, I was thinking about taking her with me. Why didn’t you save her for me? hmm?” Lain’s words gave a shudder to Alpha Seamus. He slowly moved his eyes and looked at Lain who was looking at him with a smile while resting his chin on his palm while his other hand was tapping on the table which could give anxiety to others.

“She… My apologies Alpha… I.. I just married her off since she had no mother to take care of her.. Please forgive me.. I failed to save her for you. I wish I would have known your thoughts before…” Lain’s eyes turned cold with the way Seamus spoke. He stared at Seamus’s eyes and slowly curled his lips upwards to a smirk while looking at maids who were lowering their heads as if they were scared.

“Why do you look so terrified? I just asked about your daughter.. Since she’s married, I don’t want her. I don’t lay my hands on used things. But.. you look… as if you are hiding something from me. Why is that?” His voice was teasingly sexy. He kept a smile on his face as he asked that. Alpha Seamus shook his head and looked away from Lain’s eyes, failing to hold his piercing glare. Then he poured wine into a glass and placed it in front of Lain with a smile.

“Who did she marry? An Alpha?” sipping his wine, he aimed a question at Alpha Seamus. He wanted to know the fuck took her.

“She… got married to her mate, Alpha. He’s just a normal werewolf” A sarcastic chuckle escaped from Lain hearing it. A normal werewolf? Her mate? Where’s the lie? Why is this motherfucker lying to him? He thought looking at Seamus. Having one look from Seamus could say that he was fucking lying!

“You know, the more you lie the more I will want her!” Finishing the whole wine glass, he grabbed the wine bottle and poured wine into his glass as he let out a small warning. Does Seamus think that he was an idiot? He will never believe that her mate is just a normal werewolf. If Seamus said that she was married to an alpha from somewhere, he would fucking believe it but not this one.

“I’m not lying Alpha. Why would I? It’s her fate to have a normal mate but I just let her be with him..” Lain hummed and continued drinking wine. It was almost eleven at night when he stopped drinking wine and then he started to drink champagne. Once he felt he was drinking enough, he stopped it and got up from his seat while looking at his beta.

“Alpha, you are leaving?” Seamus asked. Lain looked at Seamus and nodded.

“Yes, I came here for your daughter. Since she’s not here, I’m leaving! No need to waste my time...” Unexpectedly, his nose filled with the same fresh flower scent making his heart skip a beat. His wolf let out a high-pitched howl inside of him with the command for Lain to follow the scent. Pushing Seamus away, Lain followed the scent swiftly before it disappeared like it happened before.

“Where are you going, Alpha? Please don’t go up there” As Lain ran upstairs following the scent, he stopped upon hearing Alpha Seamus’s voice. He gritted his teeth and turned back glaring at Seamus. Why is this man asking him not to go up there? Is it because he was hiding something up there? Lain knew from his behavior that he was fucking hiding something!

“I hope I won't find something from there which would force me to rip your head at once!” With the warning, he walked up. The scent of flowers increased when he stepped onto the second floor. His wolf furiously struggled inside of him. Running through the second floor, finally he stopped in front of a door.

“NO! You are not going in!” Suddenly Seamus roared. Lain let out a mocking smile and looked behind Seamus to see two warriors of Seamus’ holding their guns at Lain. That made him laugh coldly.

“Shoot! Shoot if you dare!” His powerful Alpha tone forced both warriors to kneel on the floor including Seamus and covered their ears with trembling hands. The guns slipped from their hands. This is the power of Blood Alpha, no one would ever be able to go against him. When Seamus was about to charge towards Lain, Alec grabbed him from the collar of his shirt and threw him onto the floor again.

Watching Alec handling the men, Lain placed his hand against the doorknob and tried to open it but it was fucking locked. He curled under his breath and took a few steps back, Subsequently he kicked the door hard. His kick completely broke the door pried open. Stepping towards the room, he looked inside of it.

He saw a girl sitting on the bed. Not long after, she looked at him. The room was dark but he could see her through the yellow light of the lamp. He was attracted to her as soon as he saw her. She was breathtakingly gorgeous! He forgot to breathe while looking at her. He was fascinated by her. So.. it’s her! Looking into her glowing eyes, he felt something he had never felt surpassing inside of him as his wolf confirmed her as his mate. The mate bond rose inside of him, desperate for everything which made him growl unknowingly.

“MINE!!!!” With that, he simply stepped into the room and went to her as he pulled her to him by her hand and took a closer look at her bewitching face. She looked so shocked as she stared at him. Lain slowly moved his eyes to her body. One strap of her nightdress had fallen down through her shoulder and it revealed half of her left breast. Her skin was glowing charmingly.

Another low growl escaped from him looking at her skin. His mind was in a daze as he slowly traveled his hand on her insanely smooth skin.

“No… no… please… don’t… kill me…” Lain was taken aback hearing her brittle voice. He looked at her face to see that she was crying while looking at him. Horror-stricken in her. Lain raised his eyebrows not knowing how to understand her. Then she immediately pushed his hand away, covering her body with the quilt she moved to the corner of the bed while hugging herself.

“DON’T! DON’T YOU FUCKING DARE TO LAY A FINGER ON MY DAUGHTER! JUST DON’T! I’M NOT GIVING HER TO YOU!”
