My Feisty Luna

Luciel’s Pov.

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock, did my morning routine and went downstairs hoping to not run into my fake family but I guess luck wasn't on my side because they were all there, my bastard father(Damien), his slut of a wife(Shantel), and my fake stepsister(Selyn). Damien took one look at what I was wearing and almost yelled.

"You're a woman for Christ's sake act like one, and I want you to stay away from those boys you usually hang out with".

"And if I don't what the fuck will you do, if I remember correctly, you have no right to order me around" I fired back and could tell he and his wolf felt disrespected both as alpha and as a father, but I couldn't care less.

"I am your father, and you will obey me" he yelled using the alpha tone that could make anyone instantly obey, but not me I just shrugged at his foolish attempt.

"I think you must have forgotten, well let me remind you, from the moment you laid your hands on my mother, abused me, and eventually killed her, you ceased to be my father, and the moment you forbade me to mourn her, you ceased to be my alpha" I yelled back.

"Don't talk to your dad that way, he is your father, and you should respect him" Shantel interrupted making me glare at her.

"And who do you think you are telling me what to do Shantel?".

"Your dad did not kill your mum, she died in the hospital. It was years ago let it go" Selyn spoke in her usual annoyed bratty tone.

"Ok then what about abusing me should I also let it go since he stopped a year ago" I sarcastically reply, not waiting for an answer I walked out of the house going to school, on my way I kept on remembering what happened that day, that horrible day.

5-year-old Luciel’s Pov.

I woke up due to the yelling and screaming coming from my parents' room, they normally argue a lot, but it had never gotten this bad. I don't know why but I had this feeling that something bad was happening so I rushed to their room, but the door was closed, so I started knocking, then hitting and practically screaming for them to let me in but they didn't, and I could hear some of what they were saying.

"How could you do this to me after all I did for you, why" I hear my mom scream and cry.

"Because you are useless, you can't give me a normal male child or a normal daughter so what's wrong with me having sex outside, you should be lucky I haven't rejected you yet" Damien yelled.

"I curse the day I met you; I hate you, Damien, I fucking hate you". That was the last thing I heard my mom say before I heard loud screaming, not of words but pure pain.

"Dad don't hurt Mom please, open the door" I kept banging on the door and screaming- crying hoping he would listen, but he didn't after a while I just sat there covering my ears and praying to the moon goddess that my mom was ok, then the noise stopped, and the door opened.

I rushed inside and what I saw made my heart stop beating, my mom was on the floor looking like she could die any moment now, while my dad just stood there staring at nothing.

"Mum, mum what happened to you, mum stay with me please" I screamed crouching down to her level and placing her head on my little lap.

"Don't blame your dad, he didn't mean to hurt me, promise me you won't leave him, family sticks together remember?" I could feel the pain in each word she said, and it broke my heart.

"Mum how can you say that after he did this to you, but I promise I won’t leave him, so please don't leave me ok" Soon after the pack doctor came and took her to the pack's hospital, but she still couldn't make it.

After her death, that bastard ordered that no one should mourn their luna and then he remarried, he killed her and could not even wait for her body to get cold before he remarried.

After my mom died, Damien and Shantel became physically abusive to me and only stopped when they were warned by the pack's council last year I don't think that's the real reason but who cares, growing up I've noticed that boys or men change after mating, they become more aggressive towards their mates and expect them to be ok with it, so I came to a conclusion, I WILL NEVER EVER HAVE A MATE, and even if I do I will make sure he rejects me the moment he lays his eyes on me. I was brought back to reality when I heard my friends screaming my name so I went to them, by the way, I should mention that my friends are mostly boys, like I said earlier I don't hate some of them until after the mate, well I hate only the ones who treat their mates like fucking trash, and while they are some loyal ones, who absolutely love and treat their mates with respect and don't get me wrong I truly respect them, but I am not willing to risk it.

"You are late again" Edward gave me that 'do better' face, despite his stern face, he is very sweet and cares about everyone and he is also the only person who can ask me to do something or say something and I agree or do it no questions asked, because I respect him the most, almost as much as I respect my mom or brother.

"Maybe something came up" Arien defended me.

"Yes, he is right" Juan also defended me.

I met these three of them in middle school, Edward and Arien are brothers while Juan is their cousin, we became best friends since then, they are the only males I can tolerate but none of them know about my family or my past as I haven't told anyone yet by the way they are all alphas.

"So are you going to finally shift today and show us your wolf or not?" Juan sarcastically asked, he was always the joker of our group.

"She will when she is ready, don't force it" Edward sternly said giving Juan his famous deadly glare You see I haven't shifted in front of anyone yet as I know for a fact they will know my father is an alpha and that is a whole can of worms I don't want to open yet plus everyone thinking I can't shift makes me less of a target to anyone though I can defend myself, and I get to skip gym and practice on my own, thank God my wolf understands why and hasn't complained yet, she is a wonderful wolf to have, by the way, her name is Safrine.

"Look guys she has zoomed out again" Arien's voice brought me back I was about to respond when the bell rang and we all went to class, we have the same classes.

"So tomorrow you turn 18 and can finally meet your mate, aren't you excited," Juan asked as we sat down.

"Yes, being submissive to an asshole because of a stupid bond makes me so happy" I sarcastically replied making them roll their eyes.

"I don't get what your problem is with not wanting a mate, maybe he will love and treat you right" they do have a point but risking the rest of my life on a seems stupid doesn't it?.

"We'll see" they were about to say more but the professor came in. Thank goodness The day went by quickly and it was already lunchtime, we went to the cafeteria, and Edward and I went to look for a table while Arien and Juan went to get us food, it has been our normal routine since middle school.

"Here is your food," Juan said, placing a tray in front of me with all my favorite foods. Yep, he truly is a sweetheart.

"So, I heard there is a mandatory party in Crescent pack, held by the ruthless Alpha, apparently he wants to find his mate" Arien spoke while chewing a slice of meat earning a disapproving look from Edward but that did not stop him from continuing.

"So, are you coming?" he asked, turning his face toward me.

"As you said, it's mandatory, and I don't think, plus I have used up all my sick cards, but if you ask me, I feel sorry for his mate, his pack might be the most powerful pack in werewolf history but I heard he is an egoistic jerk" I calmly replied before taking a bite of my sandwich.

we were talking and laughing when I felt someone pour water on my head making turn to see who it was and to my non-surprise, it was Sezuan, my arch nemesis A Little backstory: Sezuan is the principal's daughter and had a major crush on Edward but he never felt the same way and told multiple times that he doesn't like girls pestering him, so she got angry and jealous when she saw the close relationship between me and the three guys, ever since she was out to either embarrass me or humiliate me not that she could even of her life depended on it …

"Look at this pretentious wolf-less bitch, honestly I don't even know why you are still in this pack, left to me you should go leave with those humans as the is no difference between you two rather than seducing these men" now my wolf did not like that kind of disrespected and struggled to take control of me but I knew that would be a disaster so I tried calming her down.

'Safrine calm down it's not worth it please' I begged and seemed to calm her down a bit 'But she called us a whore' she replied still angry.

"How about this, I will give you control to beat the shit out of her, but in human form and control yourself, no serious injuries, deal?' I asked cautiously.

'Yes please, deal' she excitedly said, and I gave her control with no one noticing.

Safrine's Pov

I smirked at her and started walking closer to her, making her cautiously step back and I could see the fear in her eyes, damn I loved it.

"What happened now, the cat caught your tongue" I mocked as I took a firm hold of her neck ignoring the gasp from people who gathered around.

"Leave me alone you crazy Bitch" she shouted and tried clawing at me but failed miserably making me laugh and push her to the floor.

"You can't even defeat me, yet you brag about being a wolf, pathetic now let this be a warning, the next time you try to mess with me then you be ready for the consequences now get your pathetic ass out of here" saying that I calmly walked back to my seat and sat down before giving Luciel the control back.

'Are you satisfied?' she asked in a bored tone while I nodded excitedly, partly because of what happened and partly because of the party. For some odd reason, I felt like something exciting was going to happen there and I could not wait.

Luciel’s Pov

Safrine has been excited the whole day and something tells me it had nothing to do with me letting her take control as she has never been this excited before, but no matter the reason I was happy, she's been with me through my toughest times and I know, the physical abuse and death of my mother affected her more than it affected me, so I very happy that's she's happy no matter the reason why. The time is currently 10 pm and I am getting ready for the party, though I didn't really want to go, I was warned by Damien not to miss it and he even asked me to pretend to be a happy family with them so as to save his reputation with other packs, but me being me, I wore the most casual thing I could think of. Sweats and a t-shirt, though I did my hair and makeup making me look beautiful to avoid anyone noticing the familiarity between me and Damien I wore contact brown lenses, my original eye color was orange with a bit of black, but because I didn't know if it was a curse or not, I always wore contact lenses.

'Ready' I asked Safrine as I went downstairs.

'Yep' she gave me a simple answer before taking her nap asking me to wake her up when we arrived.

Luciel’s Pov.

I went downstairs to meet my family since we were supposed to go together though I had no plans of entering with them, all my classmates/friends were going to be there, and I don't want them to find out that this disgusting bastard is my father. Shantel wore an elegant dress, but it was too exposed, same goes with her daughter, I guess she wants to seduce the so-called ruthless alpha, though he is said to be heartless, he is also extraordinarily rich and handsome so many women still want to marry him or be his mate, what a bunch of stupid idiots.

"What do you think you are wearing, we are going to a ball/party, not to school, go and change at once" Damien yelled using his alpha voice again, when will this stupid man learn, I sighed.

"Either I go like this or not at all, your choice Damien, but then you will have to give the alpha an explanation as to why I am not there and hope he believes it" I firmly said, he thought for a while and agree, Shantel and her daughter were about to say something but stopped when Damien yelled at them, ok now something is definitely wrong and I plan on finding out what it is The drive there was awkward and not in a good way but an uncomfortable way.

They dropped me 1 mile away from the venue then I walked the rest of the way to the party, the venue was big and elegant and as I walked in everyone stared at me and what I was wearing in horror, while I just casually walked to where my friends were.

"I told you she wasn't going to dress up, pay up" Arien grinned happily as the rest handed him 100 dollars each.

"What on earth are you wearing?" Edward was the first to ask.

"Listen I never wanted to be here in the first place so why in the world would I dress up," I asked annoyed and that made them drop it.

'Hey saline wake up you've been asleep for a while’ I felt her stir awake.

'Luciel, what will you do if we find our mate here' she asked me in gentil which often meant business.

'We already had this talk before, didn't we?"

'I know but what if he is different?' I could tell she was hopeful, but I didn't want to lie to her.

'What if he is not?' I countered back.

'OK I know what you thinking and I support you, but can you please give him a chance for me and I swear if he is just like your dad then we can leave him please' I was about to give her my opinion when the bell rang and the clock strike 12 making us all gather for his stiffness speech, I went to meet Edward and the rest.

"So, who do you think the unlucky girl is," Arien asked putting his hands on my shoulder.

"Whoever it is they should hurry it the fuck up, some of us have to sleep," I said a little louder than intended and received some serious death glares for them.

"But first let me be the first to wish you a happy birthday" Edward suddenly said making me give him a small smile.

"Oh yeah, our little munchkin is now 18 years old" Juan added giving me a pinch on the cheek.

"And now she can finally meet her mate" Arien added, and I gave him a death glare.

"Ouch, I pity the poor unfortunate soul," they all said in unison and laughed but then stopped when the host started to speak.

"So you all were invited here from different packs so our Alpha can find his mate among the females here, if you are happy to be the lucky one then we will all be pleased to welcome you as our luna" after he said that, the crowd went silent and then the so-called alpha came in stage immediately my wolf took over and shouted.

"Mate...Mate" I took control back and everyone stared at me while the so-called ruthless alpha started walking towards me and I ran behind Edward.

"Come here now" he growled at me when he saw me touch Edward.

"I'm sorry it was a mistake we can't possibly be mates," I said still hiding behind Edward.

"I will not repeat myself little girl COME HERE NOW" he shouted at me in his alpha voice and that got me really pissed off, so I left Edward and walked close to him glaring him straight in the eye.

"First of all who the fuck do you think you are using your alpha voice to command me, secondly I am not and will never be your mate because I have already found my mate" I yelled at him leaving everyone shocked and I could tell he did not like it one bit but he bit back his tongue and asked.

"Oh, really, and who is your supposed mate?" Without thinking I pointed to Edward while Arien and Juan tried so hard not to laugh, when I realized who I pointed at my face froze.

"Luciel what have I told you about lying?" Edward scolded me, rather than helping, he is scolding me in front of this asshole while Arien and Juan just stood there trying not to laugh.

"Ok I know I am sorry, just stop scolding" I whispered to him, and thankfully he stopped.

"Oh, so he is not your mate huh?" The alpha asked in a mocking tone, and I could tell he loved every piece of my suffering.

"He might not be my mate but that still doesn't mean you are plus I would never want a mate like you," I said with the little confidence I had left, he then came to me and held my chin tightly.

“Listen here little girl I will not accept any form of disrespect from anyone, not to talk less of you, I will forgive you this once for the fact that you are my mate but don't you ever try this again, or else" I could tell that both he and his wolf were speaking but there was no fucking way I was taking that kind of disrespect.

"Or else what, what the fuck will you do, let me remind you, I am not some submissive poppet that you can command and give out orders, I said It before and I will say it again, I will never want a mate like you" I yelled but before he could say anything, Damien came and bowed down.

"I am extremely sorry for my daughter's behavior, please forgive her, she doesn't know any better, Luciel apologizes now," he said to that dick head before turning to me and at this point, I can see that everyone is staring at me, waiting for me to apologize but I just stared back at Damien.

"How many times have I told you, I am not your daughter, and don't you dare tell me what to do".

"I am your alpha, and you will obey me" he and his wolf yelled using their alpha tone Normally when this happens no one can refuse his order not even if he or she has alpha blood but for some odd reason it doesn't work on me.

"What is it with egoistic men trying to control me, first it was this douche who unfortunately is now my mate and then there is you a sorry excuse for a father, I really must be unlucky" I then laughed at my state but stopped when someone slapped me and I turned to find Shantel looking at me furiously but she wasn't the one who slapped me, it was my dad.

"What is wrong with you, what sin could I have committed in my past life to have such an ungrateful and disobedient child like you, you won’t even obey me and now you are being rude to your mate, you are such a disappointment," He said and I had to give it to him, he can act.

"No Daddy dearest don't get it wrong; you never committed a mistake in your past life, you committed many in this life, but your greatest mistake was to have me," I told him with a smirk then turned to look at my mate before continuing.

"Now like I was saying, I would be very grateful if you could just reject me and then we could go our separate ways" seeing as he wasn't going to, I left, and decided to walk home, at home, I went straight to my room and got ready for bed but before that, I wanted to make sure Safrine was ok.

'Hey, you, ok?' I asked and got no response then I tried again but it seems like she was ignoring me.

'Hey, don't be like this, you saw what happened, he was just like the rest I tried to reason with her.

'But you didn't even give him a chance before judging him' I could feel how sad she was, and I did not like it one bit.

'Fine, tomorrow I will go and apologize to you, if you want a mate fine' 'Really' she asks this time with excitement in her voice Some of you might find this creepy, but I consider Safrine like my junior adorable and naive little sister.

The next day I went to school expecting the boys to ignore me or bombard me with questions but when Edward saw me, he immediately hugged me, same goes with the rest, we stayed like that for a while before Edward spoke up.

"So, you do have a wolf huh?".

"Yes, I do".

" And your dad is Alpha Damien".

" Biologically yes".

"You have some explanation to do, but we will wait when you are ready" he finally said, and I instantly felt relieved.

"So, what will you do about your mate?" Juan suddenly asked, making me sigh.

"I promise Safrine that I would at least give him a chance, so I plan on keeping my promise”.

“Who is Safrine?” they asked.

“Oh she is my wolf, you saw her the day she scared Sezuan in the cafeteria” After that, they didn’t ask any more questions and we just went to class, but I could tell people were looking at me and whispering, which I didn’t like and then they suddenly stopped making me and the boys turn to see what happened but then what I saw got me really fucking angry, my mate was standing there dressed in a polo shirt that did little to hide his mussels.

“What do you want now?” I asked as he walked towards us looking furious but stopped about three feet away and said;

“Let go of him” at first, I was confused but when I followed his gaze, only then did I realize that my hands were intertwined with Juan and Arien, out of reflex I immediately let go of his hands and straightened up before facing him back.

“I came to get my mate back” he then dragged my hands and pulled me to his side.

“First of all, I was never yours, secondly in case you haven’t noticed, we are in my school, so can you go now” I calmly asked ignoring the pull to go next to him, damn I hate this mate bond I was expecting him to just walk away but no, he dragged me outside and no one even bothered to help or ask questions not even the teachers, crazy right, this isn't his territory yet he has complete control over it. He practically forced me into his exceptionally beautiful and luxurious car then took me to a restaurant while I just sat there fuming in silence, if it wasn't for Safrine, I wouldn't even be here.

"Sorry about that but I had to talk to you" he calmly said with a smile, psychopath.

"Hey mister I have already said what I had to say".

"I know but I feel like we started on the wrong foot, by the way my name is Xian" he then stretched his hands out but then pulled it away.

"Ok let's go straight to the point Xian, I agree to be your mate for now but that's it, no physical relationship and no love, deal" he looked shocked but then quickly regained his composure and spoke.

"I was going to ask why, but then again I don't want to know, you will fall for me eventually but for now, I'll take it, welcoming ceremony will be tomorrow and word of advice, you shouldn't disrespect me ever again as my wolf doesn't like it".

"Then you should also learn to respect me and not use your alpha tone on me as me and my wolf don't like it" I countered back, and he looked like he was contemplating on saying something a warning but changed his mind and gave a warm smile .

"I'll try but for now I have to go, see you tomorrow mate" he said and stood up, gave me a kiss on the cheek, that sent spark everywhere in my body and then left.

The next day felt far too long for my liking and I hated it, especially when random people who I have never met before start asking me for favors because my soon to be or should I say already mate, is the alpha of the strongest and most power pack, what a bunch of pretentious bitches, especially those who help my parents in abusing me before, anyway I arrived at the mating ceremony, yes it was in my pack because apparently he wanted everyone to know who their future overall luna is before bringing me to his pack, heck even his looking for his mate party was in my pack, and why not, Damien was too much of a chicken to say anything anyway. The venue was packed with random people, and it made me extremely uncomfortable, Thank God I finally saw my friends and went to them.

"The princess finally decided to arrive" Juan sarcastically said earning a smack from me "I guess this is goodbye, I'll miss you" Edward sighed as I swear this is the saddest I have ever seen him, and it makes me want to cry.

"Hey, don't say that we still have school to finish, plus I'll always visit" I tried to lighten the mood but then they all pulled me in for a hug.

"Ladies and gentlemen It's time for the questions to begin" the host said making us break the hug Oh right, every luna has to answer some weird questions on their welcoming ceremony We both went on the stage and I swear he looked breath taking, in his blue suit that complemented my blue dress and his hair was drawn back making him more handsome.

'Our mates looks beautiful don't you agree?' Safrine asked and I could tell he felt the same way by the way he kept staring at me with that gaze that sent shivers down my spine and ignited a burning heat that I couldn't seem to quench.

'Umm' I hummed in response; he took my hands and led me to our seats before the questions began.

"First question goes to our new luna, are you caring" the host started asking and at this moment every gaze was on us.

"Yes, I'd like to think so" I answered then received an awkward cough from Juan and Arien making me glare at them.

"Second question still for luna, have you ever killed someone before" ok why am I the only one being questioned.

"No" I said slightly annoyed.

"Third question for our new luna" I rolled my eyes and waiting for him to talk "Are you pure" he asked, and they all looked at me especially Xian.

"Huh, what do you mean by that?" I asked suddenly, very annoyed.

"It's custom that our luna must be pure and a virgin so she can truly submit and be submissive to our alpha, so are you a virgin" he asked again while I turned to Xian.

"Are you a virgin?" I asked, raising my eyebrows, gaining shocked faces and gasping from people in the room.

"How dare you ask our alpha such a question" someone said but I paid him no attention and waited for Xian to speak.

"I am a man with needs, so no I am not" he annoyingly said.

"Oh, so if you're not one, why is it so important that I am?" I angrily asked.

"How dare you question the alpha" the host asked but a glare from me put him in his place.

"That's different, women are supposed to be pure and unstained when they are presented to their mates, especially if you're a luna" Xian calmly said.

"And aren't men supposed to be pure when presented to their mates?, like you said you had needs and so did I, so to answer your question no I am not a virgin, in fact my most recent hook-up was yesterday and is in this room" I lied not wanting to look weak but I think I did too much because a heard a loud growl from Xian and he immediately grabbed my hands.

"Who the fuck is it, who had the audacity to touch what's mine?" When I sat quiet, he shouted at me using his alpha tone, again after I warned him, boys are dumb.

"ANSWER ME" everyone flinched well everyone except for me.

"I told you never to use that stupid alpha tone in me but you never listen, it was casual sex, why are you so worked up, plus you slept with other girls so it's normal now stop acting like a beast and calm the fuck down" I yelled back making everyone silent and even more shocked. He then grabbed my hand and threw over his shoulders before turning to the audience.

"Party is over, I am taking my mate to our pack this evening to teach her a very good lesson, her family will be welcome to visit this weekend" that's all he said before literally kidnapped me and the funny part is no one came to help, they just washed while I kept on screaming and trying to free myself "Let me go you bastard" I kept on yelling but eventually got tired and drifted to sleep.
