At the break of dawn, the earth was shrouded in a gentle mist, and a pale glow appeared on the horizon.
At the prison gate, all the guards stood in formation with a respectful and reverent expression.
With a creak, the rusty iron gate slowly opened.
A slender girl walked out, wearing a tattered T-shirt and jeans, with a petite, stunning, and fair face.
She gazed at the azure sky, filled with emotion.
After five years, she was finally free!
Debra Green patted the shoulder of the prison warden. "I'm leaving. Take care of yourselves."
She walked away without looking back.
Everyone earnestly watched her as she left, offering a grand salute in farewell.
As Debra stepped out, she saw a black BMW parked not far away.
The housekeeper of the Green family, Ruby King, sat grumpily inside the car, and as soon as she saw Debra, she reluctantly got out.
"Miss Debra, can you hurry up? I've been waiting for you for almost half an hour!" Ruby's attitude was as unpleasant as ever.
Upon hearing this, Debra chuckled and remained silent. She simply opened the passenger door and got in.
The car soon started moving, and with a cold look in her eyes, Debra watched the prison gate recede into the distance.
It was on her 18th birthday when she was told that her biological parents had found her.
She was joyfully brought back to "home," only to find her parents busy doting on Melissa Green.
They scorned her as a country girl raised on the estate. In order to earn their approval, she had been working tirelessly.
However, no matter how outstanding she became, her parents only had eyes for Melissa!
Later, she was framed by Melissa and her fiancée, Oscar Whitman, taking the fall for Oscar and ending up in prison. The Green family looked down on her even more.
Debra clenched her hands tightly, suppressing the strong resentment in her heart.
After getting into the car, Debra sat beside Ruby, who threw glances at her with deliberate disdain.
Thinking about Debra's previous scowl, Ruby snorted. "Worthless street rat."
Being with the Green family for so long, Ruby was arrogant like Debra's parents.
Debra's cold gaze met Ruby's. "Is this how you speak to me? Even though I've been to prison, I am still a daughter of the Green family, and you are the housekeeper. If news of your disrespectful behavior spreads, do you think you can stay with the Green family?"
"What do you mean?" Ruby's expression instantly darkened.
The once submissive Debra had become articulate and sharp-tongued.
Debra withdrew her gaze indifferently. "Do you want to lecture me?"
"You!" Ruby was furious and wanted to retort but was taken aback by Debra's cold stare and fell silent for a moment.
She gritted her teeth to hold back her rising anger, planning to have the Green family discipline this insolent country girl when they returned.
At that moment, a stretch limousine suddenly shot out from a nearby cave. The driver was startled, slamming the brakes and hitting his head against the steering wheel.
Ruby, having nearly fallen from her seat, was incensed. "You reckless fool, what are you doing?!"
Seeing the driver lying on the wheel, Debra sensed that something was wrong. "Shut up!"
She quickly opened the car door and went to the front seat to check on the driver. She found the driver breathing rapidly with reddened eyes.
Debra quickly gave him a pill, saying, "Swallow this pill and take the front seat. I'll drive."
In the back seat, Ruby questioned, "You? Can a country girl like you drive?"
Debra turned around, giving Ruby a warning look. "Do you want me to cut out your tongue?"
As soon as she said this, Ruby seemed to be intimidated and obediently fell silent.
After switching seats with the driver, Debra started the car and maneuvered through the mountainous road.
Just as the car reached a rugged section, two cars suddenly burst out of a tunnel, heading straight for Debra's car.
Debra's eyes widened in shock as the cars closed in on them. She swiftly steered the wheel, narrowly avoiding the two cars chasing them, nearly tumbling off the cliff.
The wheels were wedged at the edge of the mountain road. Debra stepped on the accelerator, narrowly escaping the clutches of the grim reaper.
She breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that they had narrowly avoided disaster.
Ruby was visibly shaken, her face turning pale. She clutched at her heart, unable to contain herself. "Is this how you typically drive?"
Debra, displeased, furrowed her brows and turned to face Ruby. She tauntingly said, "If it weren't for me, do you think you would even be alive to speak?"
Meanwhile, in the Lincoln that had just passed by, a man sat in the back with a dark and brooding gaze, exuding an overwhelming aura of gloominess.
With a straight nose and a pale mouth, his handsome and aloof appearance gave off an air of deep melancholy.
His black suit was soaked in blood, and his long fingers were stained with dried red. The faint scent of blood filled the car.
Looking at the scenery through the rearview mirror, Kevin Sinclair began to relax.
It seemed that those people had lost them because of that sudden car.
Kevin's eyes flashed with a hint of fierceness. "Find out who was chasing us."
"Yes, Mr. Sinclair," his assistant, Felix Hastings, nodded in agreement.
As if recalling something, Kevin added, "Also, find out about the car that appeared suddenly."
"Yes!"
Kevin's eyes flashed. The sudden appearance of that car had piqued his interest.
The woman at the wheel exhibited cautiousness and seriousness in her eyes and skillfully managed to steer away from the incoming cars.
She had awesome driving skills.
Felix glanced at the rearview mirror and saw a faint smile on Kevin's lips, leaving him stunned.
What was going on?
Had he seen it wrong?
Was the top figure in the business world and the cold and ruthless president of the Sinclair Group actually smiling?
"Mr. Sinclair, are you smiling?" Unable to contain his curiosity, Felix ventured to ask.
At the mention of this, the curve of Kevin's mouth disappeared, and his gaze turned sharply cold.
Shivering with goosebumps all over, Felix wisely fell silent and continued to drive.
...
The luxury car slowly arrived at the entrance of the Green Villa. Debra had just walked up to the gate when she heard laughter coming from the living room.
"Melissa, if you're mistreated at the Whitman family, give me a call. I'll make sure to give you justice!"
A graceful woman caressed Melissa, who was wearing a white dress, sitting on the sofa.
Melissa bashfully lowered her head, "Oscar wouldn't let me be mistreated."
"Honey, you haven't even married into the Whitman family," the woman teased.
Watching the intimate mother and daughter, Thomas Green leisurely smoked a cigar. "Debra will be released from prison today."
At the mention of this name, Susan's and Melissa's faces suddenly changed.

Susan Green looked at Thomas and expressed her disgust, "Why on earth would we let that troublemaker come back? She's already humiliated the Green family enough."
Then, she turned to Melissa, speaking indulgently, "Thomas, you mustn't let her embarrass Melissa at the wedding."
"Mom, Debra is just envious of my success and jealous that Oscar likes me. Please don't blame her," Melissa blinked innocently, instantly hitting Susan's soft spot.
At that moment, a disdainful chuckle at the door caught their attention.
Debra stood there, exuding contempt and coldness, "If you think I'm embarrassing, why did you bother bringing me back?"
Susan's eyes flickered with guilt at her words, but she quickly regained her composure, "Is this how you speak to us?"
Thomas glanced at Debra's clothes and couldn't conceal his disgust, "Debra, as the eldest daughter of the Green family, shouldn't you pay more attention to your appearance? You better learn from Melissa."
"What do I need to learn from her?" Debra retorted with a sardonic smile, "Learn how to seduce my sister's fiancé?"
The mention of this made the three of them pale.
Thomas cleared his throat and took out a black card, "Go buy some clothes."
"What's the point of giving her money? Melissa has so many clothes she doesn't wear. Aren't they just right for her?"
Debra sneered, her cold gaze startling Susan, "Her things are too dirty. I'm afraid of having an allergic reaction."
Melissa's tender smile froze, and then she looked pitifully at Debra, "Debra, what did I do wrong for you to say that?"
"You've done plenty wrong," Debra leaned in towards Melissa, "I will slowly but surely take back everything you have right now."
Caught in Debra's chilly gaze, Melissa was stunned. Why did it feel like Debra was different somehow?
She snorted disbelievingly.
Debra wasn't worried. She had plenty of time to make them pay!
"Weren't you planning the wedding? Go on," Debra said with a smirk, causing Susan to tremble with anger.
Thomas knew they owed Debra. He had investigated and found that she was innocent of the incident.
Nevertheless, as long as Melissa could be safe and sound, that was all that mattered. As for Debra, they just needed to give her some money.
"Debra, enough," Thomas said in a deep voice.
Debra sneered mockingly, then turned and left the Green Villa directly, taking the card Thomas had given her.
Debra's lips curled slightly as she flagged down a taxi and arrived at a high-end shopping mall in no time.
She went straight to the top floor and came face to face with Oscar as soon as she emerged from the elevator.
His hair was neatly groomed, his features delicate, and his fair-skinned face was adorned with a pair of gold-rimmed glasses.
Five years had passed, but he still had the same "gentle" appearance.
It was this appearance that had deceived Debra. She didn't realize that everything about him was a facade until she went to prison.
As they looked at each other, Oscar's disdainful gaze fell on Debra, "Debra, you're out of prison? How does it feel to be behind bars?"
"Mr. Whitman, do you want to try it out? I don't mind taking the evidence from back then back to court, along with some additional charges, and then you won't have the chance to come out for the rest of your life," Debra sneered coldly.
Oscar's face changed slightly, and he gritted his teeth, "Don't you dare!"
Debra stepped closer to him and raised her fist, "Mr. Whitman, would you like to try my fist?"
Though she wore simple clothing, her face was stunning.
As Debra raised her fist, Oscar couldn't help but remember the scene of her knocking down a man with a single blow, and he swallowed hard, taking a step back.
"Stay away from me!" With that, Debra turned and left without looking back.
On the second floor of the mall, a tall, slender man leaned against the railing, watching the woman not far away arguing with someone.
Watching the excitement on Debra's face, Kevin couldn't help but smile.
Rummaging through the information in his hands, he came across Debra's photo in the upper left corner.
Debra Green was the eldest daughter of the Green family and 23 years old. She had only a high school degree and had been imprisoned for five years and only released recently.
Kevin skimmed through the information, his eyes narrowing. He had come to the mall today for business negotiations and hadn't expected to encounter her.
What a coincidence.
Just as he shifted his gaze to Debra, his phone suddenly rang.
Kevin answered the call.
"Mr. Sinclair, Sir Sinclair has fallen ill again. If you have the time, please come back and see him," came the voice on the other end.
Kevin frowned, "I see."
After hanging up, he turned and left while calling Felix.
"Mr. Sinclair, what can I do for you?" The call was quickly answered.
"Post a reward on the dark web. Anyone who can cure my grandfather's illness can set any condition," Kevin said solemnly.
Upon hearing that the chairman was ill again, Felix dared not delay, "I'll take care of it right away."
At the same time, Debra returned to the Green Villa after buying a few clothes.
The vast villa was empty, and Debra sneered. It was clear that they had gone to the Whitman Villa.
She took out her phone, entered her password, and transformed the delicate phone into a laptop.
As Debra pressed the screen projection button, the chat box on the dark web immediately lit up with messages.
[Joe, are you participating in this year's international judo competition?]
[Debra, I want you to design a set of jewelry. Just name your price.]
[Dr. Miracle, the prescription you gave me was very effective. When are you free to come to our mansion?]
[...]
Debra was used to such messages. With her abilities, she had no trouble finding work.
However, with her criminal record, she couldn't attract attention and needed to gather evidence for her revenge.
Suddenly, a forcefully pinned message caught her eye.
"The Sinclair Group is urgently seeking a doctor. Anyone who can cure the chairman's illness can set any condition."
Debra knew that the Sinclair Group was an influential force in the city. If she could do business with them...
Thinking it through, she directly pressed the accept button.
Little did she know that this action would cause a commotion on the dark web.
