Chapter 1. Let's end this, Amanda. | Stuck With The Bikers

Just as they always say, there will always be a first time for everything and everyone. Maybe this was it for me….

For an incoming freshman like herself, going to her first frat party felt somewhat like a rite of passage to Amanda Greyson. She was excited anyway because she had that feeling of already surviving the entire syllabus week, and now considered it high time to feel out the party scene.

It would not be so bad to enjoy herself, would it?

Just three months ago, Amanda had celebrated her 18th birthday and was now officially an adult. She was no longer the mommy’s girl she always had been, and she didn’t even want to keep being that. Although she still considered herself a good girl, she believed she warranted a little more independence. While she was away from home, she remained under her mom’s control and dictates, never being free to go where she liked or do as she pleased.

If she were honest, the last few semesters spent in college had been completely immersed in her studies because she wanted to do exceedingly well to please her mom who would never take any slight chances of seeing her fail and yes, she had kept her part of the bargain doing just fine at school, trying her very best to juggle academics with the responsibility that came with being a poor student on scholarship.

She didn’t have much time for partying, which was still very much a surprise for someone like her.

Well, that was all thanks to someone being overprotective, and it was no one else but her mother.

Amanda didn’t know why, but she had this bubbling anticipation that was swirling from within her as their car got closer to the fraternity house where the party was taking place that night. She was overly excited because her long time crush, Ryan, would be announcing her as his girlfriend today at the party. She and Ryan had been close friends after highschool and had met each other at a community service in their neighborhood.

She had developed a serious crush on him since then, and he probably felt the same way about her. They resumed college together at the prestigious Texas university and had maintained a close bond with themselves.

Amanda, along with her pals Melanie and Charlotte, made their way out of a modest Camry car that belonged to Melanie, the wealthiest member of their group. Amanda came from a middle-class home where her mother was the only breadwinner. For once in her life, Amanda was never able to meet her father. All she knew was that her father didn’t want her and abandoned her. This most likely explains why her mother detested males and constantly interfered in her daughter’s relationships with them.

“You look hot in that dress, Amanda.” Charlotte mumbled, cupping Amanda’s cheeks.

“Thanks,” Amanda replied, feeling a little too shy.

Amanda was in a well-fitted, light blue above-the-knee sheath dress in an off-the-shoulder style with short sleeves while complimenting the dress with black three-inch stilettos. The dress was body hugging, bringing out all of her curves and shape. Unlike her friends, who walked with confidence, she kept her steps at a slow pace, careful not to trip on her three-inch stiletto heels since she wasn’t used to wearing such. Her makeup was minimal, but she still stood out. Her caramel blonde wavy and thick hair cascaded all the way to her waist.

She could see every eye staring at her from different corners, making her skin crawl. Her cheeks heated and flushed in embarrassment, and she tried her best to maintain her confidence.

Melanie was putting on a plain navy blue, V-neck, fitted short dress that revealed her thighs and breasts. Her jet black shoulder-length hair, which was hanging freely by the right side of her neck with the slight smokey eye makeup she did, made her dark eyes pop. Charlotte, on the other hand, was in denim pants and a crop top and she had her brunette hair tied in a ponytail.

“Come on, Brighten those smiles. You don’t want to ruin everything by keeping your face gloomy..” Melanie mumbled as she searched Amanda’s features with her sharp emerald eyes. Amanda forced a smile on her face, trying to keep her smile from faltering.

“It’s going to be a loud one tonight!” screamed Melanie as she winked at a hot dude standing in a corner. She was the extrovert in their squad. Amanda, on the other hand, was more of an introvert who enjoyed being by herself, but Charlotte, despite her introversion, was still funny and gregarious. Amanda finds most outings to be awkward because she feels she doesn’t belong. Among the gang, Amanda was known for being shy and prudish.

In fact, she dreaded outings like these that had alcohol, crowds and noise. She often wondered how she got herself involved with one of the sleekest girls in college, but she guessed it was all thanks to being friends with Melanie.

Once in their General Studies class, which they all had together, she had helped Melanie with some of her work when she had issues with her assignments, and that was how they got close and she got herself included in the three girls’ squad. She felt like the nerd in the group anyway.

“I can’t wait to see Ryan’s expression once he sees how stunning you are, Amanda.” Melanie said with a rush of excitement on her face, making her extremely nervous and curious.

Together, they made their way into the opulent bar as confidently as possible. Vibrant lights bathed the entrance in a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors, reflecting the pulsating energy that emanated from within. Live Rock music instantly spilled through the noisy bar and they darted their eyes at every smiling face in the hall.

The whole place reeked of alcohol and, unsurprisingly, a different stench of body odor, oozing out from different corners. Of course, what else should she expect in a place like this flowery fragrance and scent?

Amanda reasoned within her as she took in her environment and concluded that it differed greatly from the house parties she was used to attending back then when she was in high school.

The party was mixed with the smell of strong alcoholic drinks with few non-alcoholic ones that were going to be used only as mixtures and yes, the slight stench of sweat couldn’t be excused from the crowd gathered and basically as should be expected, there was a lot of blasting music, noise, smoking and games going on in the background.

In the middle of the room was a large table placed where some people were playing games. Amanda figured that they were doing the truth or dare game and far off, people crowded around a set of settees talking or probably doing whatever.

Another table was set up on the opposite end of the room, where a bunch of people played beer pong. Amanda was excited. She had never really played it before and had promised herself that it was going to be one of those things she would try out to mark as done on her bucket list.

Her mom’s face flashed in her thoughts and she could picture her yelling at her for going out at such wild parties. Not wanting her mother to spoil her day, Amanda pushes the thought of her mother aside. Her mother had never been aware that she and Ryan were still together; she had always attempted to keep them apart.

Despite her mother’s restrictions, Amanda was eager to enjoy this fun-filled evening with Ryan. Nothing was going to stop her. Besides, her mom isn’t even here… ttch!

“Baby!” she heard Frank call as he noticed the girls walk into the large noisy room. He was Melanie’s boyfriend, and he left his friends and went over to take his sweetheart in his embrace.

“Frank!” Melanie called excitedly as she rushed over to meet him, throwing herself into her boyfriend’s open arms.

She hugged him tightly, like a woman whose lover had just returned from the navy.

Frank let his arm travel down her tiny waist and curvy backside as he closed his eyes behind her to bask in her smell.

“Helloooo!” Charlotte said, clearing her throat in order to remind the two lovebirds that they were out in public and should shorten their PDA.

Amanda was giggling at the two cutest couples, but she still had her eyes darting around in search of Ryan.

“Hey girls!” Frank greeted the others when he finally let go of Melanie. “It’s nice to have you all here”

“Welcome,” Justin, one of Frank’s friends, greeted as he joined the group.

He was smiling at them all, feeling like a suitable host coming to receive VVIPs into the party. Justin had always had a crush on Amanda, but she didn’t give him attention since she thought he was a bad boy because he constantly flirts with women and gets new tattoos every week.

“Hey Amanda!” He called at her and she forced a smile, waving at him softly in the air.

Just then, Amanda’s eyes widened when she saw two people at the far end beside the counter. They fondled their bodies as they engaged in a passionate kiss. Her heart raced and pounded hard in her chest as the weight of the moment sank in.

It was her crush, Ryan, who had planned on proposing to her today, but there he was, engaging in a passionate kiss with some other lady.

“Oh -ohh,” Melanie mumbled, her mouth in the shape of an oval as she traced Amanda’s gaze.

“Damn! This dude is a motherfucker! He told you to come here so he could propose to you and now he’s kissing someone else?! What a bloody cheat!” Charlotte cussed, clenching her fists.

Amanda was speechless; all she could do was watch them kiss with tears stinging in her eyes.

“I’ll teach that fool some lessons!!” Melanie said as she dropped her goblet angrily on the table before walking up to Ryan. She gave him a slap on the face, causing his head to tilt to the left.

“Hey you bitch! How dare you slap him!!!” Melanie put her palm in the air to silence the lady Ryan had kissed.

Ryan’s eyes widened slightly when Amanda seized the opportunity to arrive at the scene.

“What is this, Ryan? You told me yesterday that you wanted to propose to me today, which is why I came here. And now, you’re already cheating on me with someone else?!”

Amanda snapped, her voice tinged with anger as she tried to hold back her tears. She was someone with a soft heart, someone who easily got hurt.

“I’m sorry Amanda. I can’t have you as my girlfriend. Let’s end everything between us,” Ryan uttered plainly, his words stabbing her in the chest like a dagger.

“Why, Ryan? But I’ve - I’ve always loved you..” Amanda stuttered, ignoring the eyes fixed on them.

“I don’t feel the same way, Amanda. I love Nicki and she has everything I need in a lady,” Ryan disclosed bluntly, and audible gasps erupted from the audience.

“What do you mean?” Amanda asked with wide teary eyes..

“She’s elegant, wealthy, sophisticated, and, um, great in bed. She’s my type of lady and I definitely don’t think it can work between us, so I’ve decided to call it quits,” As Ryan admitted, laughter echoed along the hallway. Amanda’s eyes found Ryan’s arm, and she saw Nickie’s face tattooed there. He has never before gotten a tattoo. He had become so different. Not the Ryan she’d known all her life. Even if he was to draw a tattoo, why should it be that of his new girlfriend? It hurts her to her marrow.

“Not so good, man. You just hurt her feelings.” A fat dude on a settee exclaimed with a mouthful of burgers.

Amanda’s eyes stung with unshed tears as she shook her head in disbelief.

Melanie was about to hit Ryan, but Nicki grabbed her hand. Just then, three motorcycles zoomed into the hall with a perfect entrance, grabbing the attention of every single person in the club.

It was the Wild Hogs team .... One of the popular motorcycle clubs in college.

It’s strange that they showed up at a normal bar…

Chapter 2. My first kiss | Stuck With The Bikers

Amanda thought that the motorcycles would crash into themselves almost every second as they turned in circles with the other bikes. Massive flags fluttered from the bikes, and each rider’s face was hidden behind their helmet. The roar of the bike’s engine haunted the large building as the headlights flashed right into Amanda’s teary face, blinding her and causing her to squint.

The engine gave out a magnetic roar and the ugly screech of the tires against the asphalt left behind bold tire marks on the floor.

The three huge bikes trapping decelerated and the rev of their engines rattled Amanda to her bones.

Three cool guys got off their bikes before removing their helmets and swaying their necks so their ruffled hair could fall freely. Amanda’s gaze fell on one in the middle with strikingly cool features, like a model. His chiseled jawline was carefully sculpted, and his deep brown spiky hair spread across his face, dancing in the wind and slightly hiding his emerald eyes.

Each of them wore similar clothing;. Typical characteristics of bikers. They were in jeans, boots, and a vest that displayed their club color. [WILD HOGS].

They also wore a red neckerchief, the ends clasped with a sliding knot ornament. Gold chains hung on their necks, with earrings attached to their ears. In total, they were the word Perfect itself.

Amanda could recognize the one in the middle as one of the famous bikers in college from their motorcycle club– Wild Hogs Motorcycle club. He often drives around town with his team and she couldn’t deny the fact that she feels an unexplainable pull whenever she’s around him. She knew in her heart that she was crushing on him, even though she would constantly say otherwise.

They exuded a unique aura, and their presence alone was commanding, grabbing the attention of every single person in the club. Most girls drooled at the sight of their muscular tattooed bodies and perfect shape, but all Amanda did was roll her eyes since she wasn’t in a good mood. She had just received a devastating heartbreak from her supposed boyfriend so she couldn’t see herself drooling over some cool bike guy with deep green eyes and tattoos the entire length of his arm.

She wasn’t the type to get smitten or easily Infatuated with bad boys like them. Perhaps: It’s possible that she has a crush on one of them, but admitting it out loud is something she would never do. She’d rather bury those feelings in her because she knows full well that she can never have him. They weren’t of the same class. She also wasn’t his type of girl.

What was she even thinking? Ordinary guys like Ryan couldn’t even make her his girlfriend. Why would a famous handsome biker ever think of having anything to do with a nerd like her? What were those bikers even doing here since it wasn’t a motorcycle club?

“I’m leaving.. There’s no point staying here any longer,” Amanda turned to face Melanie and Charlotte, her face etched with determination. Her face had turned crimson from crying and she had tried hard to hold back those tears, but she couldn’t. What prompted those tears was that she remembered how she was downcast by her crush during her high school days. She remembered how he had informed her, straight to her face, how strange and nerdy she was. Her tormentors made fun of her, teased her, and said she was a boring, nerdy kind of person who would never be good enough to have a lover.

She had always felt bad those times, but her mom had always encouraged her to ignore them. Maybe they were right after all. Ryan just ditched her today for the same reason that her high school bullies frequently made fun of her: being a nerd.

“Look. I know you’re sad, offended and probably furious at the moment, but wouldn’t it be better if you showed Ryan that you didn’t give a damn about what he did to you?” Melanie spoke while attempting to calm Amanda. Amanda’s eyebrows furrow as she looks at Melanie, a look of bewilderment on her face.

“What do you mean?”

“I know you’re not used to receiving heartbreaks like me. I have had multiple heartbreaks in my past relationships before I finally got to meet Frank,” Melanie disclosed, placing her hand on Amanda’s shoulders as she tried to comfort her.

She caressed her cheeks and suggested, “Why don’t we play some games? Why don’t we do a lot of crazy stuff so you wouldn’t have to think about that idiot,”

Amanda steadied her breathing before glancing in Ryan’s direction. She saw him drinking some bottles of alcohol with his new girlfriend. While they were busy having a fun time together, she realized she had been the stupid one, wanting to go home and sulk over a fool who didn't deserve her.

She could recall how, while they were still close, she would frequently assist him with his schoolwork, give him money, and do everything in her power to make him happy. She had been a good girl for him all along, waiting patiently for the day to come when he would declare her his girlfriend, but she had recently come to the conclusion that she had been a fool.

“You’re right, Melanie. That fool isn’t worth crying over..” Wiping her tears, she said to Melanie, who nodded impressively.

“That’s the spirit, baby. Let’s play some beer pong and some other games as well. I want you to stare at every other face in this bar except Ryan’s ugly face. Do you get that?”

Amanda nodded while Melanie smiled as she held her shoulders and stared into her deep blue eyes.

“Why don’t we start with the beer pong?” Melanie suggested, shifting her gaze at the multiple people surrounding a long table. Amanda rolled her eyes. She wasn’t a fan of crowded areas. She hadn’t played the game before and had always been curious about playing it but at this moment, she felt all her anticipation had dried up.

“Come on, it’s just a few rounds of the game. I bet you need some alcohol to brighten your mood. You look so dull. Luckily you had your first heartbreak. In a club, there are a lot of things you can do to make you feel better rather than cry over some crazy guy who doesn’t deserve you..”

Melanie said, grabbing her by the wrist. Amanda glanced around and when her eyes locked with Ryan’s, she averted it immediately. She could tell that he had been watching her the entire time. Melanie was right, after all; she needed to engage in some fun activities so she could forget about him. That way, it would hurt him to see that she didn’t even care about what he did to her.

“Okay. Let’s go..” Amanda finally agreed, and they both headed in the direction where the ping-pong table was.

On their way, Amanda bumped into Carl, one of the cool bikers who rode in with his bike earlier. He wasn’t just any of them, but he was their vice president - Carl Salvatore.

She almost fell because of the impact of colliding with his strong muscles, but he was fast enough to grab her. They stared into each other’s eyes for a long time and Amanda could feel the intense pounding and throbbing of her heart. Despite how noisy the club was, she could still hear it reverberating in her ears.

She kept staring at him, engrossed in his cool features that she wasn’t able to move. She was supposed to get back properly to her feet since he had stopped her from falling by holding her waist with his hands. It was as if she was trapped in his looks that she couldn’t even bring herself together.

Carl creased his brows and released her from his hold, making her fall to the ground. Chortles erupted from the hall, and Amanda’s cheeks heated up in rage and embarrassment.

So mean of him to let go of her in that manner.

She dusted her dress and pouted her lips angrily as she stared at Carl, whose face was cold and void of emotions.

He didn’t even say a word to her; instead, he moved with his other bikers to a particular spot in the club to have some drinks.

“So sorry, he’s always like that..” Melanie mumbled as she dusted her dress for her.

Amanda’s brows furrowed as she traced Carl’s movement. Her heart shattered completely when she thought back to how he made her fall purposely. He had just prevented her from falling and she didn’t expect that he’d let go of her so he could see her fall.

She never knew he was this cold and mean.

She witnessed him putting his arms around a woman and planting a passionate kiss on her. Unknown to her, the jealousy she felt was even greater than when she witnessed Ryan kissing another girl. Why was she feeling this jealous? Was it because she had become so smitten with him?

“All boys are the same…” she whispered under her breath while Melanie pulled her to the place where the beer pong game was played.

“I want you to have fun, okay?”

“But how do I play this?” Amanda asked, raising her brows.

“It’s simple,” Charlotte intervened. “Let me explain the rules of the game to you.”

Amanda nodded all through as they explained everything about the game to her. Amanda was excited to join, although she was a bit nervous, she wouldn’t want them to think that she couldn’t handle drinking yet.

It would be her first time drinking alcohol and she didn’t want to act like a newbie or a novice. She was ready to play the game and also drink as much as she could so she could forget all about her worries and pain.

“I’ll go first,” Charlotte said and Amanda watched with shock as the brunette girl stood up from the settee and took a ping-pong ball. She trusted her to never waste time in having the best time of her life when the opportunity came knocking. Melanie was very free-spirited and carefree. Maybe it was because she was the oldest in the group, though.

As the game proceeds and everyone is busy having fun, the girls are getting a little tipsy and Amanda’s the only one who is excessively drunk by now.

Amanda was so awful with drinking.

Melanie was a little disappointed in her. She couldn’t even hold out much longer and had gotten intoxicated already when it hadn’t even clocked twelve. She felt tempted to burst into laughter, seeing how wobbly Amanda was. Drunk Amanda had to hold on to Charlotte for support. Maybe she drank way too much already.

Just then, Frank came around and Melanie got distracted as she engaged in a passionate kiss with him. Charlotte, on the other hand, was having a tipsy conversation with a cute guy and they all left drunk Amanda alone on the settee.

Amanda got up and tried taking slow steps forward, staggering and wobbling as she loved the feeling of freedom and power that thrummed through her veins. She wasn’t in her right mind and was completely intoxicated from the whole drink.

Once more, she ran into Carl, causing his phone to fall from his grasp and land on the hard floor. Amanda couldn’t help but chortle, since she wasn’t in her right mind; she had no idea that the impact of her crashing into him caused his phone to drop on the floor.

Her cheeks flushed from embarrassment as she looked up at a shocked Carl.

“Can’t you watch where you’re going for once?!” He snapped coldly as he grabbed her by the arm.

She smiled and wobbled in his hold.

Chortling, she ran her fingers over his jaw, and suddenly burped unexpectedly.

“Sorry..” she mumbled, feeling slightly embarrassed.

Carl got a little more mad and tightened his hold on her.

Silence ensued as they locked eyes for a moment.

“You’re handsome, but you’re just too cold. I know you have plans to make me fall like you did the other time.” Amanda snapped at him before rolling her eyes and bursting into giggles.

Carl’s eyes went wide when he heard her statement. He couldn’t understand how drunk she got, that she didn’t realize what she had done to his phone.

After staring at his lips for a considerable amount of time, she stood on her toes and softly pressed her lips against his without getting his permission. The sight of a nerdy lady kissing one of the hottest college bikers made everyone’s eyes bulge. Gasps ensued, and even Carl was taken aback to discover that the girl he had run into earlier was here, planting a kiss on him.

‘F**k! Who does she think she is?’ He growled angrily in his mind.
