Chapter One – Divorced with his Child | The Billionaire's Redemption: Rise Of His CEO Baby Mama

"I didn't drug her!" Isabella shouted desperately, but her voice was drowned out by Dianna's cruel laughter.

"The evidence says otherwise, you lying snake," Dianna hissed. "Isn't that right, Xavier?" She batted her eyelashes at him pushing her huge chest on him.

Xavier's jaw clenched as he looked between his girlfriend and wife. "Dianna wouldn't lie about this... Besides, I also saw the CCTV footage. So don't bother covering up with more lies as usual!" He warned, anger lashing out from his words as he believed she could do anything.

Isabella's heart sank. Ever since Dianna had wormed her way back into their lives, Xavier had been utterly bewitched by her. Dianna could do no wrong in his eyes.

Kate, Xavier's stepmother who despised Isabella, chimed in. "That girl is poison, Xavier. A poor orphan like her never deserved to be part of this family in the first place." She spat.

"Exactly," Dianna purred, looping her arm through Xavier's possessively. "It was a marriage out of pity. Just because I'm away to study."

The two women continued spewing venom, Isabella saw the undisguised contempt in Xavier's eyes as he looked at her. The man she had sacrificed everything for - her career, her dreams, her very identity - now regarded her as a liar and the one responsible for drugging his grandma.

It was all for nothing. No matter how perfectly she had played the role of obedient wife, Xavier could never see past his hatred for their arranged marriage, for her.

Ever since Dianna's return, she had been constantly at Xavier's side, monopolizing his time and attention. Isabella was utterly invisible to her own husband. Dianna made sure to flaunt her intimacy with Xavier, even in public.

It all started at the studio launch party two months ago where Isabella had worked tirelessly behind the scenes to see everything was perfect, the food, the setting, all of it but when she went to congratulate Xavier, he brushed her off dismissively welcoming his ex-girlfriend.

"What do you want Isabella?" He shouted, "Can't you see I'm with the one I love after being away from her for years, give us some space would you!" he spat, not even looking at Isabella as Dianna smirked triumphantly.

The memories cut like knives as she recalls how he favors Dianna over her even though she's his wife. Be it in public or in private, she even caught them kissing. Isabella had given up so much for this family, for this man. Yet none of it mattered to him, not with Dianna now whispering poisoned lies in Xavier's ear.

It was only Rose, his grandma who accepted her, and the very one who forced Xavier to marry her and now with Dianne framing her for drugging the only one Xavier loves and obeyed and her savior, there's nothing she can say to wash herself. She knows her days in the Stone's mansion have come to an end.

"...so we have no choice but to cut out this cancer from our family tree," Kate added viciously.

Isabella realized with sinking dread that her nightmare was coming true. Her marriage was ending, just as Dianna had always wanted. Even though she tried hard to make it work, doing everything Xavier said.

Xavier turned to her then, his expression unreadable. "Well? Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Looking into the eyes of the man she once thought she could make their marriage work out, Isabella knew there was no point arguing. The die was cast.

"I have nothing left to say, even if I try explaining, it would be the same, you won't believe me like how you did the previous years." Isabella said quietly. "If this is what you want..."

Dianna's vindictive grin stretched wide. She had won.

With a deep breath, she continued. "Then, let's get a divorce," Isabella added, realizing it was for the best before he could publicly disgrace her further once Rose's condition worsened.

Xavier's stepmother cackled cruelly. "Oh, that's what's gonna happen eventually."

The corner of Xavier's lips curved into a smirk. "I've had the papers prepared since the beginning of this week. I knew this farce couldn't last." He spat, even though she said it first, to think he was already planning for it.

He snapped his fingers and an assistant hurried in with a briefcase, laying it open to reveal the divorce papers.

"Well? You wanted out, didn't you?" Xavier slid the papers and pen towards Isabella tauntingly.

Dianna clung to his arm, mock pouting. "Poor little orphan girl. No family to run home to now that she's been cut off." She laughed.

Isabella's hands trembled as she signed the papers finalizing the end of her marriage.

When she finished, she got up and left without saying anything.

A few minutes later, she came back carrying a small bag with the few things she owned that she had collected over the years.

She put the bag down, then took out her wallet and removed Xavier's credit cards and bank cards, placing them on the table in front of him.

"Here is everything you or your grandma ever gave me, I've supported myself doing freelance fashion design work, knowing a day like this would happen." Isabella said evenly. "So, I'm returning it all."

A heavy silence hung in the air as Isabella returned every last possession from Xavier and his family. Everyone was amazed at her. They took her off the gold digger but she proved otherwise. Dianna's mocking laughter sliced through the tension, happy her plans worked.

"Oh, this is priceless! The little orphan girl has nowhere to go now." Dianna cackled cruelly.

Isabella paused, turning to face her tormentor with a newfound fire blazing in her eyes. "I lived just fine before his grandmother begged me into this marriage. Before I ended my own career to become the perfect wife and daughter-in-law you all demanded."

Her voice dripped with disdain as she stepped closer to Dianna. "You didn't have to stoop so low as to frame me for drugging Rose just to get your way back into this family."

Dianna's eyes went wide with shock before narrowing in contempt. "How dare you, you ungrateful bitch! You should be grateful they even allowed a piece of trash like you into the Stone family. Your whore mother should have aborted the mistake that was you!"

The resounding slap echoed like a gunshot. Stunned silence followed as Isabella's handprint blossomed red on Dianna's cheek.

"How dare you talk about my dead mother like that." Isabella fumed as Dianna held her cheeks.

Rose was the first to recover, rounding on Isabella with pure venom. "Now you show your true colors, you vile snake!"

Isabella barely spared Xavier's stepmother a glance. Her blazing eyes found Xavier's, and for a moment she searched his face for any flicker of guilt on him but none.

His expression remained as cold and emotionless as chiseled stone.

Drawing a deep, shuddering breath, Isabella spoke the words that permanently severed her from him. "I'm out of your life now, Xavier. Like you've always wanted, this Thorn is outta your way."

"I hope you'll be happy now with the love of your life" she taunted, finally meeting his cold gaze with her own.

With that, she turned and walked out of the mansion, leaving the path of devastation in her wake. Dianna clutched her reddened cheek, cheeks streaked with angry tears holding on to Xavier while Kate continued hurling insults.

Only Xavier remained unnervingly still and silent, an immovable force amidst the raging storm.

Like the heavy Storm outside, but Isabella dared not stay in the house for another second.

Just then Xavier got a call from the hospital that his grandma had woken up and wanted to talk to him.

He dashed out in his car immediately and when he saw Isabella drenched in the rain, he smirked.

"You finally got what you deserved," he muttered as he splashed water on Isabella as she was walking in the streets, blaming her for his sick grandma. He smiled knowing she won't find a ride in the rain and such a quiet estate.

Xavier rushed to the hospital, his mind racing to see his beloved grandma again. As he entered his grandmother's room, Rose beckoned him closer with a weak wave of her hand.

"Xavier, my dear boy," she rasped, "I know the truth about what happened."

He froze. "What do you mean, Grandma?"

Rose fixed him with a steely gaze. "Isabella did not drug me. It was all a misunderstanding."

Xavier felt like the ground had opened up beneath his feet. "B-But Dianna showed me she had evidence! The drugs Isabella bought..."

"Where just a kind deed, she never gave me anything to harm me," Rose interjected firmly. "That girl has been nothing but devoted to our family. Did you forget how she saved my life three years ago, does that not count for anything?"

Shame and regret washed over Xavier in searing waves. As he believes every word of his grandma.

He eagerly believes any fault Isabella does, because of the hatred he had for her for years. Believing she manipulated his grandma into marrying him to her. Now the full weight of his rash actions threatened to drown him.

"Grandma, I...I made a terrible mistake. I signed the divorce papers based on Dianna's lies," he confessed hoarsely as he ran a hand in his hair. "Isabella is gone. "

Rose's withered hand gripped his arm with surprising strength. "Then you must go after her this instant and beg for her forgiveness!" Her voice left no room for argument.

"Our family has wronged her gravely. If she will have you back after this unforgivable betrayal, you must spend the rest of your days making it up to her. Do you understand me, Xavier?"

He could only nod mutely, as he recalled the sacrifice she made realizing the enormity of how he had shattered the wife who had loved and sacrificed all for him. But perhaps...perhaps it wasn't too late to pick up the pieces.

Little did he know he had lost her! And Isabella was out of his life for good.

Isabella walked down the wet road, feeling sick and lightheaded after the event that happened at the Stones' mansion. She didn't have anywhere to go or anyone who could help her. Hot tears mixed with the cold raindrops rolling down her cheeks.

All of a sudden, bright headlights came out of nowhere, as a car sped right at her. Isabella stood still like a deer blinded by the lights, unable to move.

"Hey! Get out of the road!" A female voice shouted.

The tires screeched making a loud noise as the car stopped, almost hitting Isabella.

She fell on the ground in fear, as she gasped for air.

The car door flung open and a worried woman rushed out. "Oh my god, are you okay? You need to be more careful!"

Isabella could only groan weakly in response. Her vision was growing hazy..

"Good God! You're burning up," the woman shouted in fear as she pressed her hand to feel her temperature. "You need to go to a hospital."

Isabella tried to stop her but she was weaker than she thought, the world was spinning around her.

Concerned voices faded in and out as she felt herself being lifted...then everything went black.

Sometime later, Isabella regained consciousness in a dimly lit hospital room. A kindly nurse was checking her vitals.

"Wh-what happened?" Isabella croaked out.

The nurse gave her a small smile. "You did scare us a little but you're going to be just fine now, Mrs Stone. The doctor is coming in to explain your situation."

Isabella's brow furrowed in confusion. Explain what? She fought against the fog clouding her mind, trying to recall...

As a cue, the door flung open and a man in his forties wearing a white coat entered. His face had a serious look.

"Mrs. Stone, I have some big news to tell you," he started seriously. "From now on you'll need to take it easy, because you're having a baby."

Isabella's eyes opened wide in surprise.

"Baby?"

Who knows she would be with a new little life growing inside her. Just as her marriage ended...

She's pregnant! After all that happened after being thrown away... she was with Xavier's baby?!

The doctor's voice became quieter in the background as she put her hand on her still-flat belly.

Isabella stared at the doctor in shock after his revelation. "Wait, pregnant? But how...we never get intimate..." Her voice trailed off as the memories came flooding back.

Chapter Two – Pregnant But How? | The Billionaire's Redemption: Rise Of His CEO Baby Mama

Isabella stared at the doctor in shock after his revelation. "Pregnant? But how...we never..." Her voice trailed off as the memories came flooding back.

Six weeks earlier Isabella entered Xavier's bedroom to retrieve the documents his grandma, Rose assigned her, knowing he wasn't home. But just then he returned drunk and drugged.

"Dianna?" Xavier slurred, grabbing Isabella. "You're finally back to me."

"Xavier, it's me Isabella! You're not well, let me get help-"

He cut her off with a harsh kiss, bitter ramblings falling from his lips between heated kisses. "I never wanted to marry her Dianna...All for granny's sake...it should have been you Dianna..."

His words cut like knives as he continued his drunken tirade. "She's so poor and worthless. Having nothing I could be proud of. She disgusts me, always trying to win me over with her cooking and serving me." He gave a harsh thrust that made Isabella cry out in pain. "But it just pisses me off more!"

Xavier gripped her hair tightly, snarling in her ear. "You're the only one for me, Dianna. All I've ever wanted is you."

Isabella sobbed brokenly, wishing the violation would just end. She knew Xavier was drugged and not in his right mind. But it didn't make his cruel words any less painful.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as he roughly took her virginity, talking of his hatred and resentment the entire time.

When he finally passed out after taking his fill, Isabella could barely walk from the intense pain radiating throughout her body. Her first intimate experience had been one of violence, humiliation, and heartbreak at the hands of her own husband.

Pulling her torn clothes back on with shaking hands, she rushed out of the room. Hot tears of anguish streamed down her cheeks as her dream of Xavier finally accepting her died for good.

She left the room, and he never knew they slept together.

Back in the present, the doctor's voice pulled Isabella from the distressing memories. "The tests confirm you're nearly 6 weeks pregnant, Mrs. Stone. Given the circumstances...if you need some time to decide..."

Isabella shook her head slowly, cradling her still-flat stomach. Despite the horrible way this child was conceived, it was still her flesh and blood. Tears filled her eyes as she whispered, "No, there's nothing to decide. I'm keeping my baby."

Isabella's eyes landed on the doctor, as he asked in a concerned voice.

"But are you alright Mrs. Stone?"

She nodded weakly, swiping at the tears streaming down her cheeks. I would be! I need to be strong for this innocent child in me.

Just then, the door opened and the kind woman who had brought her to the hospital entered where she came to know her name as Mrs Liz.

"There you are, dear," Liz said warmly, taking Isabella's hand.

Isabella managed a watery smile. "Thank you for everything, Mrs Liz. I don't know what would have happened to me, to us. If you didn't help me back there."

Liz waved her off. "It was the least I could do after seeing you in that situation."

"But why? Why are you walking alone, in the rain, at night?" Liz asked, wondering.

That's when Isabella filled her in on how she ended in her... situation.

Liz's eyes were filled with sympathy on hearing about that dreadful betrayal she suffered. Her expression hardened. "To be discarded so callously by that wretched family after all you sacrificed. That's Unforgivable!"

The doctor cleared his throat. "If I may, I'd like to go over some things regarding the pregnancy..."

"Of course, of course," Liz said briskly. "Isabella and I have much to discuss as well regarding her...living situation after this."

Isabella looked at the kind older woman in surprise. "My situation? But Mrs Liz, I couldn't impose-"

"Nonsense!" Liz cut her off firmly. "You'll be coming home with me. And I won't take no for an answer."

Tears filled Isabella's eyes again at the unconditional compassion. "You barely know me..."

Liz took both of Isabella's hands in her own, smiling warmly. "A mother knows, dear. And you need a mother's love and support now more than ever with this little one on the way." She glanced down meaningfully at Isabella's tummy.

Isabella's heart swelled at the thought of having a caring maternal figure in her life again after so much loss. Her own mother passed away when she was just a girl. She gave Liz's hands a grateful squeeze.

"Thank you. Truly, from the bottom of my heart."

Liz patted her cheek. "We'll get through this together, you'll see. A new chapter is beginning for both of us." Her expression turned determined. "And we're going to make that insipid ex-family of yours regret the day they wronged you, Isabella. I can promise you that."

A fierce protectiveness washed over Isabella at Liz's vow. And it was the first time she felt a glimmer of hope within her, a new start for her and her unborn child.

After they finished with the doctor, Liz turned to Isabella with an excited smile. "I have a proposition for you that will help us both get back on our feet..."

Isabella looked at Liz with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation. "Wh...what did you have in mind?"

Liz's eyes sparkled with resolution. "I recently lost my daughter in a tragic accident. She was my whole world." Her voice caught with emotion before she pressed on.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss." Isabella uttered with sympathy.

"It's okay dear. Now after hearing all that happened, I see a second chance – to have the daughter I lost, and to be the mother figure you so desperately need right now. More than that, a chance to be a grandma to your little one." She placed a tender hand on Isabella's stomach.

Isabella's eyes were filled with tears as she digested Mrs Liz's words. To think she could find a mother's love after the loss and betrayal...it was more than she could hope for.

Seeming to sense her swirling emotions, Liz continued. "I was only visiting this city for my work, but I'm prepared to make a change, to start over fresh - with you. To support you as you rebuild your life away from those toxic people."

Isabella's brow furrowed slightly. "But Mrs Liz, isn't it too much... what about..."

The older woman waved off her concerns. "All that can be replicated anywhere, my dear. What matters most is family. And you and that baby are a part of mine now, whether you accept it or not." Her tone was resolute, leaving no room for argument.

The enormous weight she had carried for so long began to lighten as she allowed herself to envision a new life - one far removed from the anguish and pain of her past. She pictured a fresh start guided by a mother's nurturing love and protection.

As these thoughts took hold, the tension melted from Isabella's shoulders. She gave her a little nod, with a small smile spreading on her face.

"I can do this," she whispered to herself as she regained some strength. "We can make it through this." She reassured me.

"I humbly accept your offer Mrs Liz with deepest gratitude, and I will forever be in your debt."

Liz beamed and pulled Isabella into an embrace. "That's my girl. Now, let's get you discharged so we can start planning our grand adventure, yes? That insipid ex-family of yours won't know what hit them when we're through!"

Laughing through her tears of joy, Isabella hugged her tighter. For once, the future wasn't a dark, lonely path. This next chapter may have been unexpected, but she had a fierce feeling it would be her best one yet.

With that, Isabella left the city for a fresh start. Ready to get back to her feet like never before!
