CALLISTA’S POV.
"W-Who are you?" I was able to whisper those words in a weak voice.
He slammed the door before he took slow, calculated steps towards me. With each step, his leather boots echoed a silent warning. I noticed that he was wearing a crumpled black long-sleeved polo which was rolled up to his elbow. The first few buttons were undone, revealing the skin of his chest.
This man was the embodiment of seduction and mystery, a dark angel tempting me with the allure of pleasure and danger in equal measure.
"How is it living with my wife's face?" His voice was smooth as velvet yet sharp as steel.
I knitted my brow. "What are you talking about? Who are you?"
His wife?
A dangerous smirk crept to the corner of his lips. He was too good-looking to be like this... to look like a sinner.
He knelt in front of me. I gasped when he held my cheeks and pressed it. I winced in pain, but it seems that he didn't even care.
"What kind of play are you up to now, huh? Pretending to not remember anything?" His voice rumbled like distant thunder, each word dripping with venomous rage.
"P-Please. You're hurting me. I-I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know you," I cried out.
"I won't buy your drama anymore, Callista. You deceived me before. Do you think I will let you do it again?"
Callista? Is that... my real name?
I shook my head. "N-No. Believe me. I-I don't remember anything. I don't even know my name..."
He smirked dangerously. "Oh shut up. Enough with your drama. No one will believe you."
"I-It's true! I don't remember anything..."
"Shut up! Shut your fucking mouth!" His eyes narrowed into fiery slits, burning with a fierce intensity that seemed to sear through the air.
I shut my eyes as my body shook like a leaf.
He will kill me...
"How could you do this to us?" The man's voice thundered through the room, each word was a crackling bolt of lightning slicing through the air.
I slowly opened my eyes to see the pain and hatred written all over his face.
"We trusted you. Sollea treated you as her own sister. We changed your life, Callista. My wife loved you. But what did you do?" He pressed my cheeks even more, making me sob in pain. "You ruined our lives! You killed the people I love! You killed them with no mercy! For what?! To be with me?! To pretend as Sollea?! Was it fucking worth it?!"
"I-I don't know what you're talking about. Please, stop..." I begged in between my sobs.
"Stop your fucking game! I'm asking you! Does it feel good?! Killing your best friend just to fucking steal her husband?! Just to steal her life?! Seeing my wife's face in you is disgusting. How could you do this, Callista? I don't even know what to feel while looking at you. You look exactly like her." Pain flashed like lightning in his eyes, a fleeting but unmistakable glimpse into the depths of his torment.
"You will regret stealing her face. You don't deserve this beauty..." His words struck out like an unyielding storm, reaching every corner with the scorching fervor of his rage.
I swallowed hard as I stared at him. "J-Just kill me if you want. I don't want to live anymore, anyway." I smiled bitterly. "Please, go on. Kill me now. I'm begging you. End this pain. End it now..."
"Do you think I'll give that to you? I won't kill you, Callista. At least not now. I want to see you suffer by my own hands, with a slow, painful death. I won't let you get away from this. Not again. You were able to hide in those years. But not anymore."
He pushed me on the floor. My cheeks were numb. I slowly looked at him. He stood up. His fists, balled tightly at his sides, trembled with restrained violence as he stared at me in a murderous way.
"You will fucking pay for killing them, Callista. You will regret everything you did..."
"I didn't kill anyone!" I screamed.
I cried when he left, locking me up inside the room while the feeling of hopelessness enveloped me like a thick fog, suffocating and relentless. I felt like I was lost in an infinite abyss of darkness, with no beacon of light to guide me home.
One week.
I have been locked up in this small, dark, and cold room for the whole seven days, without anything. No food, clothes, or water…
And until now, I don't even know why I am here. I don't even know who I am.

GREVOR'S POV.
I left the dungeon with the fast beating of my heart. I went straight to my daughter's room. I need to see her. I need to calm myself.
When I saw her sleeping peacefully in her bed, in an instant, the wrath within me subsided, replaced by a profound sense of peace.
I went beside her and caressed her soft, long brown curls she got from her mother. Tears threatened to escape my eyes.
"I missed your sister and your mom so much. I know you missed them, too..." I whispered weakly.
"Mommy! Mommy!"
My heart pounded with worry when my daughter suddenly woke up, crying miserably. I wrapped her around my arms and soothed her.
"Shh. I'm here, baby..." I whispered.
She kept crying on my chest, sobbing painfully, breaking my heart.
"I-I saw Mommy. She's crying, Daddy. She was begging for help. She needs us. We need to help her, Daddy!" Hallina cried.
My breath caught in my throat as my eyes widened in sheer disbelief. I was utterly stunned, unable to process the overwhelming rush of emotions crashing over me. I didn't know how to react.
"Please! Let's do something! She needs us, Daddy! My mommy is crying! She was in pain! She was full of blood! All over her body! She was so scared!"
I shut my eyes, trying to calm myself and hugged her even tighter. "Shh. I'm sure M-Mommy is fine, baby. She's safe. Stop crying now."
"No, Dad! I saw her! She was scared! I want to help her!"
Why did she dream about her mother? Is this Sollea's way? Does she want me to tell our daughter about what really happened?
With my wife's picture in my hand, and a mind filled with alcohol, it was the only way for me to fall asleep every night.
That night, I had a beautiful dream...
I saw my wife. She was as beautiful as ever, a vision of ethereal beauty that never failed to take my breath away. Her hair, framing her delicate features, accentuating the soft curve of her cheeks and the sparkle in her eyes.
She was smiling at me...
I tried to reach her face, feeling the softness of her skin.
"Oh god, you feel so real, baby. How are you? Did you miss me? That's why you visited me tonight?" Each word hung heavy in the air, weighed down by the burden of my grief. My voice carried the weight of all the pain and heartache I had ever known.
"Grevor, I'm here now..." she whispered in a broken voice as I felt her delicate fingers caressing my face.
I froze when those words echoed in my head. A thousand questions clamored for attention in my mind, each one more incredulous than the last.
I felt something snapped inside me. I sat on the bed quickly, not leaving her in my sight. Tears were falling down her cheeks.
"W-What is happening?" I whispered in a trembling tone.
"I'm alive, Grevor. I'm finally here with you..." When she wrapped her arms around my neck, I realized that I was not just hallucinating. Or I probably was...
I shut my eyes, letting myself feel her warmth, her presence.
"I'm just dreaming, am I?" I murmured.
She pulled away and gave me a broken smile. "Grevor, you're not dreaming, my love. I'm sorry if it took so long for me to come home. But I'm here now..."
My lips quivered as I struggled to contain the flood of emotions threatening to engulf me. Slowly, I lifted my hands and cupped her face. I didn't blink as I was scared that she would disappear from my sight.
"S-Sollea?" I stared at her face as shock seized me like a vice, rendering me speechless and immobile.
"Oh, god. What's happening? Are you real, baby? Please, tell me I'm not going insane." I pulled her in a tight hug. And at that moment, her body crashed against mine, making me realize how real this feeling is.
I don't care anymore if I was already out of my mind or if this is all just a hallucination. The only thing that matters to me is I'm feeling her again...
"I don't want to wake up anymore if this is only a dream..." I whispered.
She pulled away and looked me in the eye. "Grevor, this is not a dream. Callista planned this all. She hid me! I was able to escape yesterday. Someone helped me that's why I was able to go home! I don't know where she is right now but all I know is I'm not safe yet. I'm sure she's looking for me already. She's gonna kill me..." her voice quivered as she pleaded. Each word was laced with desperation.
I swallowed hard. I still can't wrap my head around this whole situation, that she's here, alive...
I tried my best to compose myself. I cupped her cheek and caressed it. Oh, god. How I missed caressing her like this...
"Don't worry. She's gonna pay for what she did. I promise you, my love. I already found her. She won't gonna hurt you anymore. I will never let her touch you anymore..."
Her eyes widened with happiness and shock. They reflected the sheer disbelief of the moment, as if unable to comprehend the overwhelming rush of emotions flooding her soul.
"Where is she? I want to see her! I want to make sure that she won't get away! I want to make sure she's not gonna come after our daughter or any of us!"
I nodded, swallowing hard. I wiped her tears gently. "Calm down, my love. No one will hurt you. I won't let anyone take you away from me anymore. I'm sorry..."
She shook her head as she sobbed painfully. "No. None of this is your fault. That woman is crazy! She's a murderer! And I know she'll never stop coming after us until she succeeds!"
"You don't have to worry about anything. This will be her end..." I hissed through gritted teeth.
